Compliment. Not offensive.
I'm not a mom, but if someone called me a LSILF (law student I'd like to...) I would take it as a compliment.
So yeah.
Debatable.
Then again, I'm a law student, so I'll debate anything. Socratic method, yeah!0 -

I'm just sick of hearing milf and cougar
Me too. Old hat. Plus... it just seems like it makes women into something raunchy. Negative connotations for me. I was called MILF by some 20-something boys and I'm not even a mom. Then I realized what they actually meant, but it just felt nasty.0 -
I've had it said to me before... I take it as a compliment ... it's all lighthearted banter isn't it.0
-
Compliment....meaning you're hot for an old lady
Although it''s kind of funny....since Mom can mean a 22 year old or someone much older...
GILFs not bad either
Take it on the light.....0 -
I don't find it offensive nor to I wear it as a badge of honor. However, I do appreciate the fact that some feel that I still "got it" even after 2 kids!!
So on the flip side is D.I.L.F offensive to men??0 -
I think it's a compliment. It makes me smile. I don't think mom = old, as you're implying. I was a milf at 25, but I'm way hotter now at 31, and get called a milf way more frequently. I see no reason to take offense to it at all. Someone is simply implying that I am attractive enough that they'd want to be with me. Seems like a good thing to me. :huh:0

Been called it and it wouldn't bother me if someone used it again - heck, where I am right now I'd be offering them a free eye test!0

I guess if I am ever a mom...yeah I would hope to be a mom of that variety.0

I take it as a compliment.
Being 'older' isn't the same as being 'old'!!!0 -

As mentioned in my description of goals, I am going for the GILF title, since I'm a grandma! lol! I think it's a compliment personally, but I may just be low class.0

if a chick reads into anything that far, just run.
What chick DOESN'T read that far into anything??
Ummm, myself. Because I'm not high-strung, or psychotic. Same with all the girls in my family, and the women I'm friends with.0 -
MILF I'm ok with. I won't like cougar once I get there lol0

My 7 year old looked at a picture and asked "Mummy is that woman a milf?"
My poor confused wife took a quick look at the picture of Oephelia and asked my boy what he had said.
"Is she a milf, you know like Robin Hood, a legend..."
"Do you mean myth?"
"Yes that's it mummy a myth"
Made me laugh lots0 -

i dont think its offensive. its a compliment. a backhanded compliment but a compliment none the less. its better than half the other stuff i hear that is clearly offensive!!0

Mom of 4 here and 40 years young...
I would rather not be called a MILF, but it not as offensive as being called a cougar.
The term "cougar" is offensive to me because it implies that the woman only preys on the young guys for sex. She chews them up then spits them out, basically. That is not what I am about at all.
So, MILF...eh, just don't say it to my face. And yes, it is overused.
Cougar....horribly offensive. You will probably get slapped.

I often get called that and I really don't take offense to it. I take care of myself as best I can. I'm actually a grandmother - hum. does that make me a GILF now??? I think I prefer Cougar! (without the claws of course).0
-
Totally not offensive....find it complimentary!0

MILF I'm ok with. I won't like cougar once I get there lol
Isn't a cougar an older woman looking for a younger guy?
Nothing to be with being hot or not, right?0 -
Now I'm curious - to the women who say it *is* offensive - WHY?
Why let such a word (acronym) bother you?
I guess I just don't get the big deal. :indifferent:0 -

It was the age difference + sexual connotation I guess? I mean, I'm fine with being appreciated by all ages. Who isn't? I guess I associated MILF with raunchy porn... and so, it just took me by surprise to be called that once... and also that I was being considered "old"... Lol. I didn't feel old.0 -
