Thigh time! Not my best face photo but definitely shows off my thighs.... Im 27kg down with 10 or so to go.
edit for photo fix
Thighs that say WHEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Way to get some air, woman0 -
I don't like my legs, but only because I have horrible bulging varicose veins that get more visible with the weight that I lose.0

These are mine, I wouldn't go as far as to say I love them but I except them - they are super muscly and strong. Calves of steel.
(Please excuse the messy room)

Coincidentally I also have my own unedited photos from a Britney Spears concert a few years back. She was a bit bigger than she is now but I tell you something that girl is TONED!

I'm finally feeling happy about mine... they were pretty shapeless before, but now I'm seeing more shape, and I like it.

I'm tired of reading threads from ladies complaining about their thighs. Stop berating your legs and speaking such nastiness over them. They are *not* disgusting. They are not ugly, hideous, awful, etc just because they don't look like some supermodel's legs. You are a woman....not a 14 year old girl. As your body matures you develop curves in areas like your thighs, booty, hips, and boobs. How come people are okay with developing curves in their boobs but hate on their thighs? Gotta balance it out - and most men loooove a nice womanly figure. Amirite?
Thighs come in all shapes and sizes. Hello, my name is Jen and I am a recovering thigh-hater. Through the support and love of my MFP crew, I've learned to see my thighs for what they are - strong, shapely, and worthy of admiration! But I didn't get these thighs from sitting on my butt and complaining about them. It took a whole lotta squats, lunges, deadlifts, and jumping to begin transforming them from 26" of sloppy, fatty thighs to 23" of strong, muscular thighs. (I'm not a runner, I hate traditional cardio work...and if you do enough squats in a row - you'll see how much cardio is involved in lifting!)
I have tried to deem Thursday as "Beautiful Thigh Thursday" on my wall in an effort to get my fellow girly friends on here to love and embrace their thighs. To see that they don't need to be 18" and thin to be hot. The only way you are going to love on your thighs is to start SPEAKING IT OUT instead of putting them down. And do work. Lots of work. They'll reward you, but it won't be overnight so be patient. Encourage your friends with kind words when they have the courage to bare an area of their body that often comes under intense scrutiny.
Ladies who love their thighs - please share your gams here so we can show everyone that it's not always about having the "perfect legs" - but the confidence you walk out in those legs is way more attractive then body hating. :flowerforyou:
23" right here baby!
Awesome. We have very similar looking legs (I'd post a pic, but I'm at work, and dropping my pants might be a little awkward). Good on you. I'm learning to love mine. I've always been self-conscious, since I'm a horseback rider, they are pretty big, but not jiggly. Good reminder to not obsess the way I typically do.0 -
I used to be happy with my thighs, until someone said I had thighs that could feed a third would nation, suddenly I felt very self-concious about them. Funnily enough that was after I'd lost about 30lbs and was a healthy weight, no one every said anything like that when I was overweight.
I've lost another 15lbs since then, I think I'm quite happy with them now:
Maybe I don't need to consider donating my thighs to Africa anymore...0 -
This thread got me kicked into the spare room for the night.....Worth it.0

BUMP! FIT THIGHS ROCK0

   :laugh:0 -
and like I said in the "big thighs" thread:
My thighs are quite a story.
They have broken blood vessels from getting the crap beat out of me as a kid and then from having them crushed in a truck engine. They have patchy spots of freckles and my left thigh has the constellation of Scorpio on it made of them. I have scars and stuff. They are bigger than most girls thighs in my peer group, but im also bigger than most girls in my peer group but im also way more awesome than most girls in my peer group.
They are powerful as **** and I will never be ashamed of them.
These are aren't the legs of a survivor - they are the legs of a girl that went up against the world and won.
LOVE THIS. :drinker:0 -
Not ashamed of my thighs (maybe a little ashamed of the dirty mirror  ).

My thighs have always been something I've never really loved. I'm learning to appreciate them, and I like that they're pretty muscular, but the shape of them bothers me for whatever reason, and I'm still trying to get over the fact that my thighs aren't meant to be 16 inches around like they were when I was struggling with disordered eating.

love thick thighs and a round butt !0

My type of posts I too have 22" thighs and still not comfortable with them but after reading a lot of these posts....things could change.0

My thighs have become like rock with a nice wrap of pastry over them. 20" and never fail on me.
The fashion industry tried to do a pretty good number on us all about how much we prefer those skinny chicken legs. They may look good in jeans but I always say the same thing. It's not size but SHAPE that matters.
I know it's an old thread but OP your legs are wonderful. Bring on more thigh shots!0 -
I hate this anorexic standard of 'beauty' in this society. What really matters the most is being healthy and happy.0
-
OP has some of the sexiest, strongest, shapeliest legs on this site and I worship them.0

I'm sorry, but religious topics are better suited to the groups.

It's guys like you that give me faith and keep me eating. The funny thing is, I imagine most guys prefer shape to skinny yet we still continue to starve ourselves!!! It makes me soooo mad.0 -
Here they are, I'm proud of the butt too. lol

Woot, ladies!!!
I'm back to loving my big thighs (except for cellulite, but my skin has issues, lol). I'm 5'6" with 39.5+ inch hips and just under 23" thighs, with very little fat over the thighs and the booty I'm not really looking to get shredded, and you can see definition just fine on mine. They are big but they are cool!0 -
I'm bumping this thread in response to the Thigh Gap Thursday thread in Motivation and Support I'm at work so I can't post any pictures, but dang it, somebody else should!0
-
<---- they don't look like that right now but that was when they were at their nicest. I love strong thighs.0

Came for the pics..and was definitely worth it. Lots of sexiness here. Good work ladies. Muscles rock0

Here they are!
Excuse the mess in the background, I'm in the process of moving and everything is in piles!
Wow! Those are the kind of thighs I want. How did you do it?
I don't know why women hate on their thighs, they are so attractive.
Wow! I posted that so long ago, I nearly forgot! Here's an update. I basically do squats, lunges, repeat repeat. I think that's what helped me the most along the way! HEAVY!
