I have been working my *kitten* off, to get an *kitten*! haha I am starting lifting today followed by cardio instead of my usual HIIT and cardio, so watch my pics for the next 2-3 months, I am hoping for a 6 pack this time. haha

That's fantastic for just one year. It took me longer than that just to figure out which way was up, lol.
Yeah I did all the stupid newbie stuff but luckily the calorie deficit and a lifting program still did the job despite all the nonsense I mucked it up with. lol0 -

This is where I was by just doing pilates when I hit my goal weight:

Great results, everybody!!!
I started at a little worse than this:
I gained about 8-10 pounds between that photo (July 2010) and starting here in December 2010. Mercifully, there's no photos from other angles, although it would be fun for comparison's sake.
Lost weight doing mostly cardio and a little bit of body weight and 5 pound dumbbell circuit stuff. Started lifting heavier in July of 2011, but mostly used machines at the gym because it was Planet Fitness and their free weight selection sucked. In July of 2012, I quit the gym and got free weights for home. I putzed around for a couple months not following any program, then started Stronglifts in September. The last photos are at the end of week 10 last week.
And one more. Yay, squats!

and then I decided I didn't want to be fat just because I had a baby.
And that's when I started picking up heavy things.. and putting them down, and then doing it all over again.
And 2 months later I looked like this:

and this and this...
I'm not "there" yet... but I'm working on it.
(And yeah, that's a rocker in the background. MY baby hangs out and hollers at me while I workout some days... he's 6 months old.0 -

I started doing stronglifts almost 2 months ago - the time difference is a little less than a month - same weight, but have gone down a pants size and even those are getting baggy. Was wearing an 18/16 and am now in a 14 and could probably fit in some 12's right now.

Between pic #2 and #3 was heavy lifting plus a calorie surplus. #3 and #4 was heavy lifting plus maintenance.
I forgot to take side pictures in Feb.
