My first attempt at making baguettes. They came out a bit darker than what I wanted, but they still tasted great. I've made bread twice before. I have the feeling I'll be baking more from scratch; I love bread, and homemade smells so darn good!

Dinner while my wonderful but extremely picky other half was off on a business trip. Shrimp and cauliflower fried rice. Was delicious the first night, and has made great leftovers.

I'm off to visit my grandparents, and I can't wait to copy down some of her traditional Polish and German recipes that I wasn't able to get before I moved away from home. I want to continue to carry on our family traditions; heck, I already can tomatoes, pickles, and salsa from vegetables I grow in my garden, and make my pierogi from scratch. Now, if I could just get an authentic kielbasa recipe......

    They look fantastic!

    Avocado chocolate mousse.
Didn't have enough calories today and wasn't really that hungry so I had to get something else in me. Did the trick.

What is the 'fun'? Meaning: what yumminess did you put on top of it?

I have been experiencing problems trying to upload photos. I keep getting a " File failed to upload" message. Does anyone know why this happens? The file is not any bigger than others that I have uploaded.

Finally got this to upload...thanks for the advice @crazyravr .

This was a throw together pizza I made over the weekend. Kinnikinnick gluten free crust (the best I've found for frozen) brushed with EVOO and garlic, topped with left over grilled flank steak, sautéed mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, blue cheese and arugula tossed in balsamic vinegar. It was sooo good.

Shrimp shirataki alfredo o:) This brand of shirataki noodles is really amazing. I had to check the bag twice to make sure they were low cal lol, because they tasted more like traditional flour noodles. So good and satisfying.

I love shirataki noodles...what brand did you use?

I do too  Nasoya pasta zero @vegmebuff

Thank you...will source them out! :)

I don't think we have these in Canada. If you find them let me know where.

@crazyravr Superstore carries Shirataki noodles in Western Canada. I have seen them in Safeway too but they have tofu added and are higher calorie.

I'm posting this again from another thread because it was that good!!

Coq au vin blanc (forgive the messy dish, I was drinking a *little* wine at the time of serving).

    It's from Skinnytaste.com.

I always use more spinach than the recipe calls for. I usually put the patties in the freezer for a few minutes before cooking to help them stay together. Enjoy!
