Found some very nice magenta dragonfruit at the store.. blended with vanilla, flax milk and chia for some pudding. Came out pretty good. First time using dragonfruit in pudding.
It’s a work in progress.

Dragonfruit looks lovely and I enjoy it as it is but it's not really very sweet so maybe add another sweeter fruit with it or some form of sweetener you enjoy. Nice idea making a pudding with fruit and chia. I've only made it with chia and cacao powder with a little monkfruit sweetener.1 -

Instead of vanilla, I've started putting in 10g of vanilla protein powder in my chia puddings.2 -
Breakfast
Oven baked lamb neck and cubes with aubergine (0 added oil the fat from the lamb was plenty) Also, bulgur and cacik.7 -
MANTI- basically Turkish ravioli in garlic yogurt. I skipped the butter sauce and only sprinkled on homemade chilli powder.9 -
Grilled pineapple and grilled red onion salad followed by pad thai.
If this is Dark Leaf Italian Parsley, I love the way it looks on your dishes. I have a ton of it in my garden (the only thing I've got) but I've been chopping it so finely. You leave part of them stem on and make so much less waste plus it's prettier. I'll do it how you did it next time.

You guys meals always look so nice and are well presented. I never put effort into my meals unless I have company lol. Mom came over so I made us chickpea pasta with tons of veggies, nutritional yeast, treeline vegan scallion cashew cheese, and lots of spices!

Cambodian beef lok lak with brown rice. I used the recipe @acpgee posted a while back with one substitution. I was out of oyster sauce so I used a combo of more soy and Hoisin sauce based on searching for the best substitute. I used grass fed Denver steak which isn't a cut of meat I've had before. It is tender but has a bit of a roast beef taste. Overall we liked the dish though next time I'll try a different cut.

Hello Everyone...
I haven't been posting much... I've pretty much been living in my news feed, and participating in the Fat 2 fit group. But I've been hard at it.... I'm working on my 5th straight week of Non-smoking and 5 times a week or better Walking. And today marks the first day of weight lifting. (as the Home Gym is basically complete).
My 49th Birthday was yesterday (Ate this on Saturday though, as Sunday is our Fast day) and what Better way to Celebrate with some of the finest food in the world. Wagyu Strip Loin...
And a full 15.6 Ounces of Alaskan King Grab Meat after the bones were removed. And 15 grams of Garlic Butter. So good it should be sinful.
This was supposed to be a once in a life time meal. Immediately after my brother, my fiance and I sunk or teeth into that steak, we all immediately agreed this will now be a once a year event.
The steak was actually worth it. Easily the best steak any of us have ever tasted. And I literally cook a real mean steak every single week of the year. Tender beyond belief, and so buttery smooth and tasty. Lots of kosher salt, pepper and garlic powder was the perfect seasoning.
Unfortunately it was so good I decided 4 ounces beef wasn't enough, and I ate the remaining piece. Lol. Still under 2000 calories on the day. And I was literally stuffed.
And I lost 7.8 pounds this week on top of it and 78 pounds all together. Things are going Amazing.17 -
Rehydrated green beans stewed in lots of onions and tomatoes topped with garlic yogurt and a sprinkle of homemade chilli powder7 -
We had a rice leftover from Saturday's dinner party so I made pineapple fried rice.

Spaghetti & meatballs. While on vacation last week I had a wonderful sauce at an Italian restaurant that had a heavy basil taste. I wanted to recreate it so I made a simple sauce of tomato paste, shallot, garlic cloves, lots of basil and some fresh oregano from my overloaded plant that needed to be trimmed. It ended up tasting just like I wanted.

Salad of stuff: butter lettuce, arugula, tomato, fresh oregano, radish, pickled green beans, olives and Kasekrainer sausage spritzed with olive oil. I bought the sausage at a newer butcher shop I wanted to try out over the weekend. It's made in house and smoked so ready to eat. It was OK but not something I'd buy again. This was a bit light as a meal so I see a big snack coming later.

Chocolate cake with two ingredients - chocolate with stevia and eggs

Starter of salad with pear, St Augur, candied nuts. Main of failed linguine cacio e pepe (cheese started to split out of the sauce because I added hot pasta too quickly).

Slap up weeknight meal of beef green curry batch cooked a few weekends ago, that I pulled out of the freezer, warmed through with some frozen peas and garnished with toasted coconut i keep in the pantry for topping beef rendang. Pickled carrots and cauliflower stems languishing in the fridge with some roast peppers that came out of a jar. Basmati rice.
