Made some English Muffins, added a homemade TVP burger from the freezer, usual burger stuff, a quick coleslaw and a bit of salad. Under 500 cals and really hit the ‘comfort’ spot!
Braised venison shanks and sweet potato. Very rich and great flavor, but I only found it eh. Husband loved it but I can’t get past the “goo” that the melted connective tissue turns into. However I’m EXTREMELY averse to meat fat of any kind so most of you probably wouldn’t even notice
Everytime I make Cambodian beef lok lak (every couple of months), I think "I forgot how good this is". I was in a rush to make dinner because an emergency at work meant I had to stay logged on until quite late, but even forgetting the khymer lime and pepper sauce and the fried egg on top it was really tasty. I don't miss the optional rice with this meal.
@ giggitygoo -[/b][/b] Thanks for sharing your picture of "Cheddar, Sausage and Broccoli Casserole" in here. Would you able to share the recipe, looks delicious!
Senalay
The fish looks delicious, but, do you eat the head and eyes? Curious minds want to know. My dad owned a cat fish restaurant and Georgia and we ate everything but the head! LOL

I'm having whiting fish with cracked wheat (bulgur) salad as a side dish.

Homemade tomato soup with a drizzle of non-dairy cream. Very good.
