    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? went out to eat and ordered a cup of chili and side salad with raspberry vinegarette (while I watched my husband eat a pizza - :noway: I was full and satified and didn't miss the pizza too much :bigsmile: )
    What would I have done differently? nothing - I've been staying on track
    What is today's personal goals? check in, track calories and elliptical

    Mon - 3.5 mile walk
    Tues - 40 mins elliptical

    Well got on the scale this morning and I am down again from vacation so hoping to get down more
    before Friday weigh in. Working at it and fingers crossed.

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? YES
    What would I have done differently? Nothing
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Took care of my SIL's dog while she is in the hospital
    and made food for her husband when he comes home at night from his stay with her.
    What is today's personal goals? Keep planning ahead and strategize. Keep exercising.

    Mon- Biking 30 mins.
    Tues - Leslie Sasone walking DVD 2 miles 30 mins. + 20 mins biking
    Wed.- Cleaning upstairs and still catching up from vacation.

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? kept to my low carb plan
    What would I have done differently? ate too many peanuts after supper
    What is today's personal goals? eat in balance every meal/snack , stay low carb
    Mon - 60 minutes step DONE

    Thurs - 45 minutes step -
    Fri - 60 minutes step -
    Sat - 60 minutes step, 40 minutes body pump

    Well, guess I have another rest day. Argghh! wasn't organized enough to get the exercise in and I really, really wanted to. Maybe my goal should be to have more exercise days than rest days this month..................... :huh: :sad: :embarassed: :ohwell: :grumble:

    Did you stay within your nutritional goals? YES - by 4 calories!, ok I guess I didn't count the little pinch of pie crust that I had - that was probably more than 4 calories . but I was very close

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? didn't have pie - even though my husband and son made my favorite (for pi day today!)
    What would I have done differently? I was hungry, probably should have eaten more for lunch

    Things have been crazy this week. We just got back from vacation in Florida and found out my
    SIL was in the hospital and was diagnosed with cancer. So this has been a out of routine week
    with eating and exercise. I have been trying my best to eat right but sometimes my mood got in the
    way. I am up 1.6 lbs. this week but I hope to get back to normal routine next week. She
    comes home on Monday but outlook is not good so I am trying to help the family best I can
    and make food for her husband when he comes home from the hospital.

    What would I have done differently? Ate right an exercised but life got in the way.
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Cleaned my SIL's house for 4 hours while she was
    in the hospital.
    What is today's personal goals? Keep planning ahead and strategize. Keep exercising.

    Shirley -- I am so sorry to hear about your SIL.

    I went crazy with food today while sick with worry about my Brother-n-law. He had emergency 10 hour heart surgery today. And, we couldn't even be there for him. We live clear across the country. The good news is that the surgery went well (even though longer than the 4-7 hours we were told it would be). Please note that he is a non-smoker & is not over-weight (never been). Frightening!

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? 50 mins on the elliptical instead of the usually 40
    What would I have done differently? stop the mindless eating in the kitchen - a bite of the grandkids hot dog... a couple of bites of Annie's mac and cheese... UGH!!! I tracked it!
    What is today's personal goals? check in, track calories, walk around Boston and go to the Celtics game tonight!!!

    Hi Rosie - Welcome to the group! Yoga 5 days a week - that's fantastic. My yoga instructor is coming back next week. Her son has been ill for quite some time. I am so exited to get back to it!!!
