    I don't know, some people don't really like kissing all that much.

    I'm not a huge fan, I also won't make the first move, they have to be the ones to do so, even if I like the person I'm way too shy to initiate anything. Maybe it's possible he's shy or maybe he just didn't want to cross that line?

    I mean did you try to kiss him and get rejected? Maybe he thought you didn't want to kiss?

    And no haha I'd say there are much better parts of hooking up than making out.

    A lot of people see kissing as more intimate (for those they're really interested in) and when casual hook ups take place it's usually for one thing and that's not to kiss. I remember an old work colleague saying that he didn't like kissing at all when he was getting "intimate" and I don't think a lot were from relationships he was in.

    This doesn't necessarily mean that he saw it as a casual thing only, some people just prefer to get down to it without any of the extras. Although, that along with flirting leading to "sleep and cuddle" it does sound more like a casual hook-up. If you're interested in pursuing this further, I would let him know asap. That way, if he doesn't feel the same as least you can move on and save yourself the hurt.

    He invited you over to "sleep and cuddle", you bought it and you think he wants a relationship? He didn't kiss you because he just wanted to "cuddle", nothing more.

    unfortunately i thought this too when i read your op.

    I wasnt going into it expecting a relationship. I knew what our "sleep and cuddle" time meant. We didn't have sex, just fooled around. However I thought kissing was just something everyone did, whether you were just planning on hooking up or not.

    Isn't kissing the best part of it?

    Yep..when you want to be close to someone..but usually not if it is a booty call.
