    I don't think the poster was trying to figure out if the guy is into her. I think the point of her post was to discuss the fact that the acts leading to sex have changed, or are different than what she expected, and she's wondering what others' experiences have been. So, really, people don't need to be talking about prostitutes or telling her the guy is not into her.

    Kissing implies emotional intimacy. If he didn't kiss you, it's because he doesn't really want emotional intimacy (i.e. a relationship). Same, if you didn't take initiative and kiss him, maybe you don't really want that level of intimacy either.

    (i ruled out bad breath, as I know we both showered and cleaned up before meeting. He also is a rather bearded man. Maybe he was afraid I couldn't find his lips in the mess of hair.)

    Most guys who just want some cuddling skip kissing because then that means, it means something. Thats happened to me. I just got out of a 4 year relationship and was all about kissing. He was like, umm Im not really the kissing type and then wanted me to umm...do stuff.

    That is probably the issue with my generation.

    Kissing actually is a lot more intimate the f***ing, which refers to a very specific kinda sex that you normally have while wasted with a guy you met at a club or when rebounding or when you just wanna get some without any strings attached.

    Kissing is kind of more emotionally intimate than some kinds of sex. Sounds weird to say but I totally understand that sentiment.

    Even so I've never hooked up with a guy who didn't start off by making out with me but kissing is mostly something I've done with someone I'm dating

    And OP if you're saying you like blew this guy then he was just looking to get some without even bothering with the "opening act" of kissing, did you ever see that friends episode when the guys and girls discuss what kissing means to them?

    fondling, groping is not "fooling around".

    technically speaking... fondling, groping is what the TSA does to you before they allow you to get on a plane.

    I have NEVER messed around with anyone (in about 28 years of dating/relationships/hookups/what-have-you) without SOME kissing going on...

    the "no kissing" thing reminds me of "Pretty Woman."

    Unless you're just looking for a hookup, I'd move on to someone who really DOES want to kiss and cuddle--that's a lot more fun (in my opinion)

    I read ALOT of relationship books and columns, since I just got out of a trainwreck relationship.

    All the books state men who just want one night stands, with no relationship, won't kiss the woman.
