I'm not a troll or bitter... Just being honest. Think about it... It takes several hours a day in the gym to have the "perfect" body.... That plus work, life etc... Leaves very little time to care about others. I lift heavy with the big boys at the gym. I see how they admire themselves in the mirror. I'm friendly with them as they are with me but as far as a relationship, no way. They are too consumed with themselves. Just my 2 cents.0

Well I'm in the gym 4 hours ( 5 maximum) a week so I don't know, why one would work out several hours a day as that's counter-productive. Besides there is a lot of time to do things if you manage what you think is important as a priority.0 -

And probably full of ROID RAGE too.0 -

It doesn't take several hours a day in a gym to have a "perfect body"
I know some a**holes that are a little pudgy too.
Some people just enjoy working out because it makes them feel better.
Others do it to improve at a sport.
Saying every man with muscles is self centered is like saying every woman with big boobs is a sl*t.0 -
I instantly compare him to former WCW/WWE wrestler Buff Bagwell - see how he stacks up against the perfection of Buff Bagwell - then...I wonder if he's a sweet southern charmer like Buff - then I usually want to make out. haha!0
-
I just think "wow, impressive" and can't wait for the day someone looks at me and thinks the same!0
-
And think about it, a guy with a perfect body has to only depend on his body to get a date where as a guy with some fluff has to develope his personality in order to score with the women. I'm only being honest yet you guys are getting all butthurt... I guess I should lie??0
-
I just want to look at his MFP dairy and learn.0

<=== Now feels like a girl-jerk because I spend 90 minutes at least in the gym 5 days a week and therefore don't know how to love anyone else. Should just walk away from kids and family and have relations with a mirror.

OP, read your profile and enjoyed it very much. You're very self-effacing and funny.0 -

No Butthurt here. You just seem to assume a lot of things about guys in great shape like me. And you know what they say about assuming...0 -

How do you know a person with a "perfect body" needs it to get a date?
Indeed you are being honest but according to an opinion you have developed and know believe to be true. Nobody is "butthurt" just trying to find logical reasoning with what you are saying.
You can do what you want, nobody says you can't have your own opinion.0 -

I'm not butt hurt.
I'm just failing to understand your logic.
Spending 3-4 hours a week in a gym or training doesn't necessarily wash away all brain cells and make you a meat head.
In fact, some would argue that staying active and healthy would only IMPROVE someone's personality.0 -

Thanks...I'm here all week0 -
Years ago I briefly dated someone who had an amazing physique, he was so into his body building he didn't drink alcohol etc, which wasn't my lifestyle at the time (or now lol) and I just didn't like how hard his body felt....duuh.
However, now I realise just how hard he worked for that body and I have totally changed my idea on what's hot, it now makes me giddy with desire ha ha!! Damn I wasted my opportunity there.0 -
It's all in the attitude and what people feels... some are really jerks... some are the sweetest things!0
-
OK, maybe "butthurt" wasn't the correct wording to use.
Here's what I have personally experienced... I spend time in the gym... I have been fat, and I have been thin, and now I am strong like bull and loving life... I talk to guys in the gym every day because I see them every day.... Most of them do not spend 4-5 hours a week in the gym to achieve their "perfect" bodies. I am shocked that you 3 only do... you must have hella genetics....
I laugh when I see the guys looking at themselves in the mirror all sexy-ified and all. It's hilarious...
Oh, and I don't consider spending 90 minutes a day x5 excessive. I am SURE most of that's spent doing cardio anyway.
I now stand corrected. I am thankful there are 3 guys out there who are meat heads but care more about others than themselves.0 -

I wish he would ask me out.
You can't judge personality based on looks. Some of the biggest *kitten* are nothing to look at. A great body usually point to determination, goal oriented, and a hard worker. All good things to me.0 -

So a guy.is a douche.because he's checking out the progress of his hard work in the mirror? You've never once looked in the mirror at yourself during a workout?0 -
When I see a body THAT full of muscles like the one in the pic, I think he would would spend more time working out than staying with me. I give to everyone the benefit of the doubt, but would not approach this person. If he would come to me (unlikely anyhow) I would be willing to start a friendship.0

Nope.0
-
I think...good for him for wanting to take care of himself and his body!0
-
...do you automatically think "he must be an a-hole" or you don't judge?
When you have a body as awesome as I do, people tend to think I'm a stuck up a-hole until they get to know me and realize I'm a nice guy.
Love your pic! :laugh:0 -

Your say you work out 5 to 6 days a week too. Does that make you the female equivalent of a meathead, and any less capable of caring for others?????0 -
Call me stereotypical, but I love it when a guy has a really muscular body. Not bodybuilder muscle, just really brawny and manly. Rugby man! I guess those type of guys are stereotyped, but hey, their hot, they know it, they have the pick of the girls or boys, and if somebody wants to be bitter about that, just let them. They are probably self conscious and need to work on their self-esteem. Having said that, I wouldn't approach a guy like that because I am one those self conscious people and think they would not give me the time of day, and not even as a possible date, just as a person. But's that's my problem. Not theirs.0
