I worked my way through my emotions. Instead of eating poorly in reaction to a disappointment. I showed myself and my body a little love and respect and had a healthy dinner. I'll rest well tonight, deal with the issue head on and start a new day tomorrow with my regular workout.0

I live in a student flat with 5 others. They all made cupcakes last night whilst I was watching Tv and covered them in chocolate fudge icing and sprinkles etc. I am normally have THE BIGGEST weakness for all things chocolate and cake, but this morning when I was quite hungry, I looked at all the cakes laid out on the table, admired them for a while, and then walked straight past them to my cupboard to get my porridge oats. Worked out first thing in the morning even though I woke up feeling like someone punched me in the gut from hurt feelings from someone criticizing me and my mind taking it all kinds of weird places and ending up in my sad sad heart. My legs felt like jello as I walked to the gym, my heart felt like a hole was in it as the breeze blew by, my arms felt like gumby with double weights as I entered my stats for cals readouts later. At any moment I could have literally just gotten on the ground and huddled in the fetal position and cried, but I made it there and did a full workout topping all my other workouts. I came back and napped a little.
How's that for commitment.0
