Oh yeah and no more happiness either. I am interested more in articles that tell you what the benefits are of eating something rather than a large list of things you can't eat. Ham, pasta, pickles and honey are all on this list and I know that all of these can be employed for good benefits is fitness plans. At least the bulk of this list is stuff you should avoid but I don't really go for the fear based advise.0 -
I just got one thing to add, check out my ticker below..... I did that by eating darn near everything on that list... You see what it came down to for me was getting rid of the trigger foods in the beginning until such a time that I could introduce them again in moderation and fit them into my caloric intake. So I don't deprive myself anymore of any food that I want to enjoy.. Far as I am concerned this list is pure crap, nothing against you or anyone else if you feel the need to restrict then by all means go right ahead but I won't be giving up my Pop tarts and chocolate milk for breakfast anytime soon or anything else for that matter... lol Best of Luck....
Impressive work, Ed D. Congrats.
Your comments onmoderation really are teh cornerstone to success.

Why no pickles? Some have "0" calories...which blows my mind b/c cucumbers have calories.
They have calories. If any food is less than 5 calories per serving, manufacturers can legally report it as 0.0 -
I drink a special alcohol that only slows down my metabolism by 68%. I can keep drinking that, correct?
This list would be easier to use to control my every waking minute if it were in alphabetical order.
Can someone please edit and repost?0 -
geeze....shall we just stop eating altogether??0
-
NO BACON ? .... bull**** :drinker:0

i got hungry reading the no list hahaha (not funny really)0

Here's an article I found on the internet that I think everyone should know about. I don't know if everything on this list is true, but maybe it will help you. That list is retarded. Many things are spot on. But coffee? Coffee is one of the best PED's ever studied! And bacon? PUHLEASE I will never give that up. And pork is one of the leanest forms of meat available! Shouldn't be on that list. Yes, pigs are disgusting animals and I only consume bacon as the only form of pork, but they are nonetheless lean and are not bad for you.0 -
Ya so whats left at this point? Lol
Exactly..... Therefore can we get the same long list of things we can eat..... SHESSH...0 -
ME TOO! at least you can see the humor in life0
-
Not giving up my coffee...you can pry it from my dead cold hands0
-
I plan on eating everything on that list.
And still losing another 40 pounds. Because I'm like that.0 -
Wow...so what's left? LOL0
-
Option A: Why are you all so mean? If you don't like the facts I posted, then just leave and don't post anything at all.
or
Option B: Maybe it isn't absolutely essential for your success that you don't eat any of the foods on this list. Perhaps I should have done some more reading first.
OOOH OOOH OOH PICK OPTION B! and tell all your friends!0 -
This thread is ignorant. Have fun with your restrictive diet, let me know how that works out over the next few years.

I can't really argue with most of that. To me, such foods should be treats, not regular parts of the diet.
However, I had a glass of chardonnay last night, and the sugar count on that is 0.0 -
Let me clarify:
I'd rather put full fat/full sugar stuff in my body than diet whatever. That being said, I like salads a lot, and I love veggies and fruits and delicious chicken, but I'm not going to deny myself that tasty meatball sub the size of my head.
I'll just eat half and put the rest away for later.
However, I'd be lying if I said I "never" eat "light" things like the Yoplait light I ate as a snack. I was hungry and needed a snack and that was available.0 -
I have been addicted to my diet pepsi for 24 years and while I have had a few binges on it, I will never give it up completely (and before anyone says anything yes I know the chemicals in it, but honestly its the only soda i will drink for that matter. Water plus me equals a force rather then anything).
As for the alcohol, I only drink once or twice a year and that is for special occasions because I am a lightweight. I still have potato chips, candy etc but I moderate my portions and honestly I would much rather be able to have them then live a life without them.
So with that said, carry on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
How about no.0
-
i do not understand.
it says no salted nuts, nor smoked nuts. what about unsalted, unsmoked nuts?
What about salted AND smoked nuts?
the plot, it thickens.
You two seem very fixated on this particular item.
Did you not even read the other equally important things on that factual list of facts?
I did, but they were irrelevant to my interests.
That makes sense.
Carry on then.0 -
Well played, Jof...well played

Who me? Oh, okay...uh, yes, indeed, I will most certainly let you know how things turned out for me.
Making a note in my calendar for 2/13/2015...
...update...MFP...on how...things are...working out...now.
Okay, done. Looking forward to it.0 -
