Not fans of either Will Ferrell or Ben Stiller. The only movies I've ever seen that featured them that I could stand were movies that had them in supporting roles, not as the main stars. The only possible exceptions to that are Talladega Nights and Tropic Thunder. I say possible because I have to think long and hard about it.

Also, anything with Jim Carrey. I don't mind Bruce Almighty though.

It's the opposite for me. Anything with Jim Carrey, I either love or really want to see!

The Wizard of Oz and, many years later, Star Wars.

    WHAT?!?!?!?:noway:

I apologized to my date when we went to see Casino.... we left...only movie I have ever walked out of!

To echo your post, WHAAAT!? Casino was awesome, almost as good as Goodfellas, I loved it! I guess if you don't like gangsta flicks it may not be your thing...

People keep saying Titanic, but I loved that movie and I don't even like romances very often.

I must say that I've never enjoyed The Wizard of Oz either. Also, The Exorcist, I watched it as a child and didn't find it anywhere near as scary as some people made it out to be. It was on the boring side to me.

    Casablanca
Godfather films (Even though I LOVE mob films, I didn't like these. Maybe I need to watch them again.)

I don't even know where to start, honestly.

Star Wars (or Star Trek, I don't know which is which). I refuse to watch, looks really dumb!

Any of the Indiana Jones movies. Ditto. Refuse to watch.

Any romantic comedy. They are all the same.

Anything with that one girl. Catherine High or something. Hate her with a passion!

    I could go on forever.

As soon as you said "Refuse to watch" your opinion became invalid. How can you possibly pass judgement on movies by your own admission you haven't even seen?

Patton Oswalt, a standup comedian, did a bit on one of his first HBO specials about a locally famous film critic in Virginia who wrote for the local newspaper. What made him famous (at least locally) was that he never actually saw a lot of the movies and wrote his reviews based entirely on the trailers and what he heard second hand from people who watched it. This of course made him the butt of many jokes as people did not pay any attention whatsoever to his reviews. This guy kind of reminds me of that.

Patton Oswalt is a tool box. He is so unfunny, it hurts!

Casino and Goodfellas were virtually the same movie.

Fun fact about Casino. Frank Cullota—renamed "Frank Marino" and portrayed by actor Frank Vincent in the film was hired as a technical advisor for the movie (he had turned state's evidence in exchange for blanket immunity). When they shot the murder of Sherwin Lisner. (the Costa Rica murder) Cullota was on the set. After the first take Cullota turned to Nicholas Pileggi and told him "That wasn't how it happened at all" and proceeded to describe the killing. At this point Pileggi realizes that Cullota actually DID the murder. He quickly spoke to Scorsese and they pulled Frank Vincent, put Cullota in wardrobe and reshot the scene. So when you see the movie, the guy shown killing Shervin Lister in his house in Costa Rica is the guy WHO ACTUALLY KILLED Sherwin Lisner.

300, Saw movies, Twilight, Scarface, the Godfather trilogy, Fast & The Furious franchise... The list goes on.

Forgot to add... I can't remember the name, but it is a recent Nicholas Sparks movie..... I laughed at certain parts and people were not pleased..... I really just gotta give the ladies and gents pats on their backs for going to see these romances with their SO's....
I egged my sister for two weeks after we saw it.
