plain water, Monday-Friday...not nearly as much on the weekends when I'm not chained to a chair.

It's funny - being tied to a chair weekdays makes me drink more water too. Weekends, not so much.

I fall between 128 - 160 oz's a day. My husband thinks I'm crazy and that I'm drinking to much - but I love it! Plus, I've had kidney stones...If drinking water helps prevent a kidney stone and the pain that comes with it, then I'll drink it no matter what! I do like water, and I drink it from morning till bedtime!
  • 6-12 cups a day. Remember a glass is 8oz serving. You will want more on other days. I think drinking plain water is the best but I've also lost a ton of weight guzzling diet coke. However, I'm getting strict on myself again and going back to plain water only as I've become addicted to diet sodas and diet lemonade. The first three days are the hardest. You'll find yourself getting thirsty and not wanting to drink water. But that increased thirst if you ignore it, allowing yourself to get very thirsty and overcome you and the next time you take a drink, make sure its water and you'll start to appreciate it so much more.

Another thing is I started thinking of ways to treat myself with water. I LOVE the taste of Evian. If I'm out, instead of getting a diet coke or some unecessary sweets, I'll treat myself to a big bottle of Evian.

as drinking water helped you loose weight?

I know some people will retain more...

I think helps. You'll drop excess water weight fairly quickly once you start drinking a significant amount of water, then it kinda slows down and you'll start seeing weight loss at a slower, but steadier pace. Don't be shocked when you have to use the restroom about every hour!

    I usually average about 5 glasses a day. It's not great but it's a good start :)
  • I have about 4-6 glasses a day (with every meal and throughout the day) not counting the half gallon I drink when I work out. Thirsty...

Even though I know that I am supposed to drink about half my body weight in ounces, I don't.

So, technically I should be drinking around 75 ounces per day....however, I probably drink half of that...
Although when I am running I drink more.
  • 3-5 liters, but if you count protein shakes and tea, it's closer to 6-7 liters.

    5 -7 smart water bottles

I hope you're just refilling the bottle!
  • I usually drink anywhere from 8-16 cups of water a day, depending on what's going on throughout the day. One a normal day, 12. :)

My goal is 80oz a day, but most of the time I'm barely hitting 64oz. Today I've already got my 64oz in already and its not quite 3pm. I can make that 80 or better!

I stop counting around 8 glasses every day. I probably average closer to 12-14 a day but I do go through phases where I will drink 20-25 glasses a day for about a month at a time. My doctor is still trying to figure that one out because I feel like I am beyond parched and all my levels are normal during these spikes including in the testing was an electrolyte balance check and a blood sugar test since I am borderline and most of my extended family is diabetic.
