I haven't seen any of the star wars movies either. Scifi isn't my cup of tea, unless it is something that is more realistic. You know, something you could actually imagine happening.0

Star wars (the original trilogy, at least) is just a darn good story, even if you're not into sci-fi type movies. My husband made it to 24 or 25 without seeing it and refusing to see it. Finally after he saw the spoofs by Family Guy I convinced him to give it a go. He's not absolutely in love with it like someone who grew up on it, but he likes it for what it is.
If you don't like it, you don't like it. But at least give it a try.0 -

Well, actually, when I was young I went to Return of the Jedi in the theatre. But don't think I really watched the movie. Was more interested in the popcorn and other concession goodies.0 -

I'm 35 and have never seen them. Not one second of any of them. They just don't seem to interest me at all. I have a 5 year old son so I'm guessing someday he will ask to watch them.0

My husband still has his toys from when he was a kid, he's a HUGE Star Wars fan! I HAD to watch them before I could marry my him, LOL! No really, that was more his family saying they couldn't believe I had never seen them. And I still haven't seen the last original one...not sure how that's happened.0

And I have never been able to sit through Superman (the original). Everytime my husband tries to watch it with me, I fall asleep. My kids love both Superman and Star Wars.0

I dont know who is who for all the characters. Ive watched maybe 10 mins of a few movies but always end up changing the channel if its on TV and have never popped a movie in. Just have no intrest at all.0

I love Star Wars, but I've never watched The Sound of Music nor Gone With the Wind. Just down to personal taste.0

I too have not ever (nor do I ever want to) seen any of the movies. I find this type of movie so incredibly boring. I downright forbid to watch it. I'm not a movie person. No thank you. Pretty much anything that is really popular, I stay away from. But in all honesty, I don't care how popular these movies are, I will not watch them.0

I didn't see it until I was 24ish because A) Nobody in my family really cared about it, and
It never appealed to me. I saw it when I was 24 because A) I wanted to be culturally literate, I was on a "watching-all-the-greatest-movies-of-all-time" kick, and C) my boyfriend wanted me to watch it. So I watched all of the original films (not the ones made recently). I didn't really like them. I don't remember them well, either, which is a sign that they didn't hold my interest very well. I appreciate the impact the movies had on special effects and the movie industry, etc., but I really have no interest in Star Wars. 0 -

No, I have never watched them. We didn't have access to them when I was growing up in terms of being far from movie theater when they came out and not having a VCR or a channel where they were shown, and I've never had a desire to see them as an adult.0
