    It WAS going to be a session with my personal trainer but I've got a sore throat & feel like crap. Oh well, perhaps I'll do 3 sessions next week instead of 2.

    Hour and a half "Fighting Fit" class consisting of:

    5 min Jump rope

    7 rounds of :
    3 min striking set - combos of punches, kicks, and knees ; 1 min fast knee kicks; 1 min pushups, froggers, or jump squats

    50 reps each - crunch, flutter kicks, reverse crunch, russian twists, bicycle.

    60 sec plank

    Stretching

    Ran 2.68 miles then 30 mins elliptical. Gonna be starting strength training soon.

    A 3 mile power walk outdoors, followed by jazzercise class tonight!
  • Walked with Leslie Sansone this morning & did Nike + Training (Kinect) this evening.... Might throw something else in since I have tons of energy.

    Run for a mile 7:36
    Standing upright cable rows: 10@45lbs 10@35lbs 10@25lbs 10@15lbs 10@5lbs (no stopping except to change weight) repeat 3x
    Same type of rows but laying on the ground, same sequence as above, 3 times
    Cable triceps, same weights as above, 3 times
    Hammer curls: 10@20lbs 15@15lbs 20@10lbs 25@5lbs repeat 3 times
    Bench press: 30@45lb (bar weight) 25@55 lbs 20@65lbs 15@75lbs 10@85lbs 5@95lbs 3@105lbs
    Back squats: 20@45lbs 15@65lbs 10@85lbs 5@105lbs
    Deadlift: 10 reps of 130lbs 3 times
    Clean and Press: 10 reps at 70lbs 3 times
    20 70lb (cambered bar) lunges 3 times
    Cable flys: 10@40lbs top, middle, bottom, 3 times each for a total of 90
    Stair Climber for 10 min at 85 steps a minute to finish it off.

    put in 2 hours at the gym this morning training chest, tris, quads, and abs...also threw in a little stretching and a short jog

    I figure skated for an hour (hickory hoedown dance) and did the first 30 minutes of P90X Core.
  • I'm off to a fitball class, it's like cardio plus palates and lots of silliness! Lets hope I keep my record going and DON'T fall off the ball :laugh:

    I have no idea what most of these 'exercises' are...

    But today I went to my local animal refuge, and I walked dogs. Or should I say, I got dragged at a run behind them with my arms being pulled off...so all in all a great cardio/strength training workout LOL!

    YMCA hit the weight room first for an all over workout. Then 30 minutes on the lateral machine! Very high intense cardio!

    Jump rope HIIT style, by far the most underrated, fat burning, cardio, cheapest, simplest exercise out there. Best weight training day pull-ups with weighted dips.
