I do not want jewelry, flowers, or chocolates...but I'll look past the chocolates.

A good cooked meal, maybe a movie, and snuggles. If those snuggles lead to more then so be it. Or a massage. Those are nice as well...

I'm getting my husband and I both the World of Warcraft Expansion. We just renewed our subscriptions and now we need the expansion.

Last year I bought a bag of Skittles Valentines and put all 24 of them around the house, her car, and even got some to one of her coworkers who put them around her work through the day.

Each had a different pet name for the FROM and the TO that we have used for each other over the past 36 years (dated 3, married almost 33 last year.)

I got a phone call from a squealing wife every time she found one.

Not sure but I think SHE wanted that for Valentine's Day.

My wife gets a card from me and one from the critters, (probably 1 from her boyfriend??) Kidding....Along stem rose, one is as good as a dozen, a box of "good" chocolate, and I will make her a nice dinner. I don't know if that's what she wants or not but that's what she gets. One year I filled her car up with red & white ballons, boy what a pain that was!! It was worth it thou. That was in the early days! Whatever you do have a fun one !!!

That was my favorite valentines ever.

Whats new with is and what would a wife love and enjoy?
Just looking for tips from others. Maybe there is something new out there I dont know of yet..

    HIT MEEY!!

Tell your gal you got her gift already. She'll ask you if you got her a certain item...when you say no she'll ask if you got her another item. In less that two minutes you'll know exactly what to buy her.

    You're welcome :)

I am lucky enough to be married to a man that agrees with me on the subject of valentines day. If you need a day marked on the calendar to show someone how much you love them, you don't deserve to be in a relationship...same goes if you expect a gift just because its "valentines day". I do not need "things" to know how much I'm loved and neither does he, our actions 365 1/4 days a year take care of that just fine.

I do not understand the expectation of paying over inflated prices on things that are going to die (ie, flowers). If you MUST buy your partner something so life is pleasant in your household, buy a plant or a bush or a tree, something that wont friggin die.
