The foods you must STOP EATING RIGHT NOW...

Can I just say something... these lists are BS. They just are. I'm sure that I can find an article online that says that some of these foods are "Fat burning foods" or whatever term they decided to make up for whats "good".
Just use common sense, and don't gorge yourself on things full of chemicals, sodium, trans fats etc, but don't torture or torment yourself because "YOU CANT EAT ANY OF THESE EVER". Just be reasonable. Be smart. If you notice that you're bloating after eating certain foods, then eat less or cut them out if you desire.
Please stop posting these, they aren't helpful and only lead to fasting and other types of distorted eating. There is a common sense way to do all of this.0 -
I will eat what I want and still get shredded in May/June.0
-
That may work for some of you special snowflake people, but us regular people have to try different things to be successful...like search the internet for lists of foods we should/shouldn't eat.

^^^ This guy is on point! Can all forum posts go through him please!?0 -
I still do and used to eat what I wanted to every time I lost weight... so why stop eating those foods now just because someone lists them and says they are detrimental to my weight loss?0
-
You all do what you want...
...as for me, well, this list is well-written and well-supported enough that I think I'm going to follow this list and not listen to anything you random strangers on MFP have to say.*
(*at least until I find a better/different/shinier internet list and then I'll put all of my belief in that new list.)
I don't know why you guys are all bullying the OP. This is supposed to be a support site, not supporting his ideas means you should leave immediately!
And he CLEARLY has put a lot of thought into this and cares about it and believes it too, which is more than you bullies have ever done!!!!!
And a few more !!!!!!!'s for good measure!

I wouldn't think of bullying the OP. I'm a bit bored and off to a sluggish start today so this thread has provided some much needed entertainment. As was its likely intent.0
-
Coffee is listed on there? **** just got real.0
-
Excuse me.....but.........first off thanks for the article but I will eat whatever I want off this list when I want to in moderation and as long as I am excerising and as long as i'm staying in my allotted calorie range I will continue to eat most of things that are on your list in moderation.... and still lose weight... and yes my ticker says i've only lost 5 pounds but i actually lost 16 pounds before starting myfitness pal and I ate most things on your list in moderation and excerised my butt off....moderation is the key...0
-
I'm a special snowflake, so I can still eat all those foods.
I am  so hard I am :sad:0 -
I stopped eating fried Snickers bars and got all bulky0
-
Ooo, this thread reminded me that I have to pickup stuff to make fried pickles tonight. I would have forgotten without this post. :flowerforyou:0

Here's an article I found on the internet that I think everyone should know about. I don't know if everything on this list is true, but maybe it will help you. I found it at http://www.nowloss.com/foods-not-to-eat-when-trying-to-lose-weight-dieting.htm (Yes, I know, people don't always cite their sources, but I just can't plagiarize.)

Chipotle
Sushi
A little unhappy with this list because these are two of my favorite foods.
:sad:0 -
Ok silly question but why is popcorn on the list of stuff not to eat?0

I love a lot of those foods though! I just watch how much of it that I eat.0

Crap. There's nothing left. Has anyone invented bacon flavored air yet? Nevermind. They fill balloons with air, and those are pretty dang poofy. I'll just sit here and hold my breath til I die then.
.......well, that didn't last long, so I guess I'll just have to keep doing what I'm doing <sips coffee>

I don't understand why you all are being so unsupportive of the OP. He provided you with an article from the internet that is filled with extremely useful information. Why do you all have to hate!?!
OP, good luck on your journey and please ignore all of the haters.0 -
My favorite is that people think this thread is serious.
THIS!!!! I have lost count of all my facepalms :laugh:0 -

fixed it for you0 -
Most of what is on that list is correct....but remember like anything else you can eat some foods on that list...just do it in moderation. I give myslef at least one day a week to cheat. So when I decide to eat steak I can eat the ribeye....remember one good day doesn't make you skinny and one bad day doesn't make you fat. Avoid these foods the majority of the time...but take time to eat what you crave from time to time so that you can continue to stay on track while rewarding yourself once in a while. So enjoy a treat now and then:) Good luck0
-
Here's the point....some of you are going to take this list as a MUST some aren't. I appreciate the OP recommendations but there are some things I am just not going to give up. But I will print the list and try and stay away from as much as I can. One thing I will NOT eat is bananas. My favorite fruit but I have had two dr tell me that for my body type they will just help me gain weight. We are all different and all lose weight differently.0

Apparently you want me to starve to death
Ha ha ha!!... I was thinking the same thing!!!0 -
Honey is a natural anti inflammatory. I personally believe it good for you. All things in moderation.0
-
I'm so happy I read this article because that's everything I started doing on Monday. The only problem is the processed meats. I still pick up those lean turkey burgers but I make sure no sugar is added and the one I have says that it's only made of turkey meat. Honey has been a tough one to give up though because I love it in my ginger tea.
Thanks for the info. Haters will always hate. When they continue to remain over weight and say why... you can't say I didn't inform you of the info. This article is factual. I started doing all the and the pounds are coming off in a healthy way and I'm not starving
Thanks man for the info!0 -
