    i have mine set at 1600 but i go anywhere from 1600 to 2000. i got fat eating food and im going to eat to get skinny too. working for me. 35 pounds lost since jan 1st.

    Glad I found this thread :) I have lost 183 pounds and am currently down to 198 pounds (5"9) and have been stalled out for monthssssssssssss. I thought about it the other day and decided...i either become skinny (and eat 1200 cals) or I become fit, healthy with some muscle definition and eat more...I am going for the second option :) So I have my fitbit & MFP to lose only a pound per week and will be eating the total fitbit adjustments So expect I will eat 1800+ Currently not doing much resistance work as I have another 10 days in a splint (broken wrist) but that will be my focus once the splint is gone...3 sessions a week :)

    I'm averaging around 1900 calories a day before exercise to lose 0.5#/week

    I bumped my calories this morning after being constantly hungry on lifting days, and surprisingly enough I'm on a deficit right now and not even hungry.

    Whatever. Works for me. Long as I keep losing and working out and getting fitter and stronger by the week and eating healthier than ever before in my life ... so be it. :drinker:

    I eat anywhere from 1700 - 2400 calories a day most days.

    I strength train 4 days a week, 20-30 minutes cardio on those days, and I weigh between 122 and 125. I'm 5'7".

    I'm still very much a work in progress.

    I've been maintaining for a while and I'll eat from 1730-2200. I'm 5'5" and weigh 123lbs. I'm hoping to get into weight training in the near future and put some muscle on.
  • Question for you guys, are you having 1800 net cals, or 1800 cals not including exercise cals?

    I calorie cycle between 1500 and 2000 a day. I do intense daily cardio training (not for weight loss - for other fitness reasons), and I additionally lift heavy 2-3 times a week.

    Currently weigh 99 lbs and am 5'2" and can now comfortably fit a size 0 again. I have just started maintenance, so still trying to figure out the right calorie load to not lose, but I'm sure that will sort itself out soon enough.

    Hmm... Same weight and height, close in age
    But try to stay around 1500 and looking to increase the amount of strength training per week
