    Kalamata olives are THE best! Yummmm. But I love all olives. My husband does, too.

    I like olives, but not on pizza - I don't even want to pick them off because they leave such a strong taste on the pizza - just leave them off!

    I do like olives (black) in salads, and I love them in hot and dirty martinis (especially blue cheese stuffed :-)

    I hate olives. I remember my brother and father wearing them on the tips of their finger at the dinner table. I hated them then and I just can't seem to get over the taste now. I really wished I like them because they do have a lot of health benefits though.

    I dislike olives intensely, but am finding I am more tolerant to them as I get older. At least enough to not have to pick them off my pizza. That said, someone made an olive-based cheeseball a few years ago and I LOVED it. So now I'm more open to the idea of olives in my food.

    No, do not like olives at all. I pick them off of pizza and out of salads or anything else I see them lurking in or on.

    I love them. All the olives. Martinis are a great excuse to have more olives.

    If I only get one topping on my pizza, my 6 year old daughter and I choose black olives because they add lots of flavor and we both love them. I like most all olives, she doesn't like the green ones.

    I love olives. Black, green, any kind, it doesn't matter. I had to stop buying them because my 13 year old will eat the entire jar in 1 sitting.

    My 5 year old's favorite pizza is pepperoni and olives.. black AND green if they have them, only black if that's all that's available... also, if we have Subway, she gets a ham & cheese sandwich with only pickles and olives...

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE olives!! When I was a kid, my mom had to hide the jars from me because I would eat the whole jar!! My kiddos have my love of olives as well. I have to make sure that they both have the same number of olives on their salads, or they will get upset...lol!

    Oh my gosh, you guys are so weird. I thought we were all humans around here! When were we invaded by the Planet of the Olive People? This is surreal!

    I also thought olives were a somewhat rare, maybe acquired taste. I guess this explains why they take up half an aisle in the grocery store and, if that weren't enough, have their own bar over by the deli.

    So yesterday I was at Costco and I was looking at the pre - packaged foods for my family dinner, when I came upon something I had never seen them have before ---- Deep Dish Pizza. And it had lots of the normal toppings but what I noticed was that there were TONS of black olives on it.

    Now, me, I HATE OLIVES to the point that I don't even like looking at them. And I was just going from my own opinion, but when I saw that pizza, I was thinking that most people don't like olives, so having lots of olives on a pizza was a poor idea. Nobody in my family really likes olives, though at least my wife won't pick them out of stuff; she will eat them if they are already in a dish.

    Then I thought about my mom and brother.... nope, they both hate olives.... And then I thought about my friends, and I can't say that I know that any of them particularly enjoy olives either.

    Do you like olives?


    Haha, so basically just because YOU hate olives, it was a poor idea for a place to sell pizza with olives on it? For real?

    I can't stand them either. I will pick them off a frozen pizza, because if you cook it and then pick them off, you get the flavor left behind. However, I have occasionally wondered if I would like them fresh and not pickled.

    doesn't sound appealing to have them cooked, much less a face full of them
    but I'd try a *few* on a piece of pizza if it was on the table.
