    That's insane.

It's telling me on the days I don't work out, eat 1850cals and on the days I do work out, eat 2350. I'm a bit skeptical about this.

There is an almost 1000 calorie difference between my TDEE comparing the KatchMcArdle forumla to the Harris Benedict formula. That's a huge variance.

I know my BF% so if I put that in it auto chooses the KatchMcArdle, which gives me a TDEE of 1493 and when I play with the calculators on page 2, then to lose a pound a week, working out 4 times a week (moderately active), and having to eat less 900 calories a day!

MFP says 1200 cals, according to KatchMcArdle I'd only lose half a pound a week with that.

What BMR formula should I use? It makes a massive difference to what I can eat each day.

I can't figure out how to change it to weight loss. It's only showing weight gain for me. Completely the opposite of what I'm trying to do :P

Wow this thing is rad! I input my my starting information and what I've been eating for the past 35 days and it is almost exactly right. It's prediction of where I would be in 35 days is only 1/2 lb off from where I actually am. Pretty cool! Glad to see that I'm not being a total failure at this!

I'm going to try hard to eat more.. It seems to work for so many people. This calculator thing is easier to play with then that road map thing. Does the numbers it gives you really work though? tht other method says my TDEE is 2550 I can't even imagine eating 2000 calories right now.. I struggle to eat what I do. I can probably get up to 1400 or 1500 which is where this calculator puts me if I do it slowly. I really wanna get this stuff right so I can stop having to track everything and just live. lol. I know that's a long time coming.. but it's my ultimate goal. Optimal health and having it be second nature. :~)
