I've passed my goal weight but I've been losing inches since I started lifting so I'd like to drop another jeans size or so.0

10 pounds to my first goal, 64 to my UWG0

I am trying to burn over all body fat at this point. Not bulking up. But I do lift weights for certain areas, underarm fat, leg fat, ect.
Lifting weights helps burn fat. Eating too much is what causes bulk.
And even then, as a woman, it's still hard to get bulky. You have to try really hard to achieve that. It doesn't happen accidently.
I'm becoming less and less concerned with what the scales say. I'm more interested in how I look in the mirror, my clothing sizes, and how little jiggle I have.
I lift heavy weights. I haven't lost any actual weight in awhile, but I'm down another pants size and I am regularly getting compliments on how awesome I am looking. That works for me.
When I was 263 pounds, I was HUGE and definitely bulky. I've dropped 62 pounds of the bulk so far!
I completely agree on lifting. Strength training plus a smallish deficit is helping me keep my TDEE at 2500 -- the same as it was when I was carrying around an extra 62 pounds of fat.0 -
Yes I had 26% body fat.0
-
I have to lose 27 more lbs to get to goal weight.0
-
16 for my goal, and another 11 for the ultimate goal.0
-
10 lbs.
It's the worst. The scale is no longer my friend lol
Many would argue that the scale is ultimately no one's friend.0 -
Yes I had 26% body fat.
I think you are responding to my question.
If you have a high LBM, BMI is not useful at all. You should base it off your BF% imo (and the mirror and how your clothes fit). The BMI was developed for populations and therefore uses averages. The average person does not have significant LBM and so someone that does will not fit into the parameters. I am overweight according to the BMI but have a sub 20% BF%.0 -
7 lbs. These last pounds are going to be pesky to lose!0

400

12lbs to go until I get where I want to be.
I'm 182lbs right now down from 260lbs.
(78lbs lost in 6 months).
I did the math and if I got down to 170lbs (5ft 8inches) I'll have 7% body fat putting me in the six pack range.0 -
I would think 30-40 but it all depends on how much I weigh when I finally look the way I intend to.0
-
10 lbs (or so) but would like another inch off the waist.0
-
100lb long time...0
-
I'm hoping it'll be only about 10-15 lbs. I just want to be able to fit into size 8 pants/jeans and not jiggle when I run, lol.0
