I have found that the workout seems to go much quicker if you mute the TV and listen to some fast paced music.
This^^^^^^
Seeing these posts really makes me wish I had taken pictures, I'm on L3D3 and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Can't wait to start Ripped in 30 next!0 -
Day 5 level two.cant wait for lvl 3.0

Hi, just a question, do you follow a special diet too? (Along with the 30DS)0
-
Seeing this thread finally made me order the DVD! Thanks for this, great motivation!!0

Wow! I have the shred sitting at home and your results are absolutely FANTASTIC! Cant wwait to see your day 30. Keep it up!0

I don't intend to stop eating heathily or give up exercise. But equally I don't intend to do this DVD every day for the rest of my life.
If the DVD helps tone to a point and is then maintainable just by eating well and doing any kind of exercise, sign me up. If it tones to a point and then requires you to do the DVD several times a week to maintain it, it doesn't seem realistic.
You don't have to do the DVD every day to maintain, just do whatever workout you want.0 -
Hello,
I recently began the 30DS, I am on L1D5 and although I cannot "see" results yet, I can sure "feel" the changes taking place in my body.
You do Level 1 for 10 days, Level 2 For 10 days and then on to Level 3 for 10 days. Gets a tad boring, but anything worth achieving can be that way. Just keep going. I was preeeeety sore my second day, could hardly walk. But after taking a couple days off for healing, I am back at it. I really am excited to see my changes when I am finished. After that I am going to do Ripped in 30 or Hip Hop Abs.0 -
Hi everyone,
I just thought I would join in as I ordered the 3 DVD box set of Banish Fat, 30 Day Shred and another DVD included the other day and it should arrive by 23 July.
I have just signed up for this website as I was having a look around for success stories of 30DS as I am going on holiday for the first time in 2 years!! On the 28 August and have not bothered really much with losing weight. I'm one of those people that do one or two exercises and gives up but seeing everyone's results on here is very helpful and hopefully will make me get into gear for the 30DS as I have run out of time, I know I wont loose much weight or look much better but it's worth a shot with help from everyone!
I'm 20, 5ft 3in and 10st 7lbs but look a lot bigger and all of my weight is around my waist, belly and hips sadly I do no exercise, work 9 - 5 and have no energy by the time I get home!
I was just wondering those people with success stories how often did you do the DVD workout a week? Did you do one lot of 20 minutes or the whole DVD to get to where you are now? And what types of healthy food did you eat that you never got bored of?
If someone could help so I get motivated that would be great!0 -

OK this can't be just from 30 days of Jillian's 30 day shred. What else are you doing/did you do/or how long is the lapse in time from before and after here.0 -
I bike 7 miles to work each way 3-4 times a week, also switching to a mostly paleo diet. I learned that grains bloated my belly quite visibly. also relaxed vs flexed plays a role in any before and after photo.0

I'm on day 3 of the 30 day shred all my muscles are killing me. But not giving up loving the feeling0

on level 2 day 3.... its really tough..
Don't get down, it gets easier!! I'm on level 2 day 9 right now, and according to my heart rate monitor I'm not burning as many calories yet I'm doing the full workout more intense as before so it must be getting easier on me. Still tough of course, and kind of afraid of level 3 as of right now. Just push through- you can do it!0 -
Bump! I'm starting this tonight and need motivation!0

Tomorrow is my last day, can't wait to post my results now since I last commented on this thread June 18th saying I'd start July 1st! Pound loss has been minimal but inches lost, amazing My tummy has gotten a lot smaller and my core a lot stronger! I'll be doing Ripped in 30 stating August 1st0

All these progress photos are so inspiring. I had done 30ds for 5 or 6 days but kept missing days and got discouraged. Right now my work out routine has strictly been running and recently couch to 10k. I've been reading that I need to incorporate strength into my work outs too. I think I will start back at it. Maybe even today if I have any energy left after my run.0

It's tomorrow now and here are my results!
Bust: no change
Under Bust: -1 1/2"
Waist: -1"
Navel: -1/2"
Hips: -1"
L/R Thigh: -1/4"/ no change
L/R Calf: -1/4"/ no change
L/R Arm: -1/8"/ -3/8"
Neck: -1/2"
Total Inches Lost: 5 1/4"
Total Pounds Lost: 1.2lbs
So basically pictures taken for before and after SUCK. I took them with a webcam and you can see absolutely no difference because of the horrible quality.
I like these comparisons better, first pic taken 24 days into the shred, second picture taken 7 days before.
Front:
Side:
2 months comparison at the same weight, I've been plateauing for awhile now:
Next is Ripped in 30 starting tomorrow, wish me luck!!
Edit: I've also been doing C25K and just finished Week 5 so that contributed quite a bit to my results!0 -
I'm going to Try This !! It's on You Tube I wanna see if I can lose Twenty Pounds!! I'm amped0
