I have never heard of this Frank Medrano fella but if you want to base your dietary needs off some elite level bar calisthenics guy then you should probably pick Hannibal as he $hits all over Frank.

And agreed, Frank is tiny. Maybe he needs a 6a0128763842f6970c014e8874e0a2970d-800wi

    Old mate is a tripper.

BTW I had a friend try this. She looked like she was pregnant, fruit was fermenting in her stomach.

Your vegan conversion tactics need work.

There's no tactics to convert you, keep doing what you're doing if you think it's scientifically sound...
You have no idea what I do.

I am a vegetarian, almost vegan, except that I do eat cheese and non-vegan eggs on rare occasions. However, the main difference between you and I is that I'm not an abrasive, confrontational ******* about it.

Let me ask you this, what was so abrasive and confrontational about posting a video, entitled "Where does Frank Medrano get his protein?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ9sfVsBbS8

Then the attacks begin... And the difference between you and I is, you're afraid to stand for what you know is the truth...
Don't condemn me for your fear... I'm not afraid to speak the truth...
This is typical dogmatic vegan propaganda and like most, talk about science then offer none...........science is not emotional, yet you avoid the science and respond to the emotional. If there were actual documented health concerns regarding animal protein, it wouldn't just be available to the vegan community, would it?

There is so much scientific data proving the adverse health effects of eating animal protein, and I'm assuming that you have internet connection, therefore you're capable of looking them up yourself if you're interested... And being vegan or omnivore makes no difference in reading scientific data...
However for someone who describes themselves as "almost a vegan" , my question to you is why are you almost a vegan?
Why aren't you out there eating hot dogs, bacon, pork chops, hamburgers, if there's no scientific evidence that eating that is harmful to human health?

and you're still refusing to answer any of my questions, like...
Let me ask you this, what was so abrasive and confrontational about posting a video, entitled "Where does Frank Medrano get his protein?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ9sfVsBbS8

The burden of proof is on the person making the claim. That's the way science works. You started the thread to claim that meat is unhealthy. Now it's up to you to back up your claims with science.

Why would you want to? I like bananas but that sounds terrible.

Bananas at approx., 100 calories apiece. 50 of them would = 5000 calories per day,

 yeah, of course somebody would eat 50 per day

Based solely on Google images of Mr Frank Medrano, no doubt he is very strong for a person of his composition, but he appears to have a high strength-to-weight ratio (i.e. low bf %) rather than having built larger muscles than usual for his stature. He may well be able to perform strength feats with his own bodyweight, but are there any stats for his ability to lift external weights compared to an omnivore lifter of a higher bf% and larger muscularity?

The pics I found of him look like sinew and bone rather than a muscular physique.

    Just an observation.

She looks pretty healthy to me, not at all Sumoish... People laugh at what they don't understand...
I also understand, some people can't ever learn new concepts, they fall back on conditioning, instead of doing serious research to find out what's really factual...

If you don't agree with him you are ignorant. It's cool. It's more fun without having to respond to him.

There is more than just blinders going on here. OP is exactly the target audience for these videos. It's a shame really, because there are people that buy into this nonsense.

But I don't really want to look like Mr Kali Muscle (it would be pretty difficult doing some of the more advanced yoga stuff with that physique, so I wouldn't need to eat that much protein I guess. We all have individual goals and that's good. Shame if we were all the same.

50 bananas a day, = 5000 calories, that is without other important stuff you need to eat to stay healthy.

    This is getting ridiculous now.
