Did you stay within your nutritional goals? No - Over 200+
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Didn't set any
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? went back to the neurologist - My MRI looked ok. The doctor says I have a inflamed nerve in my arm/neck and schedule physical therapy - Whew! Consider myself lucky!!! So here comes the rant - I asked my mother to join me because well... she is retired and a nurse and loves this stuff. So we're in the room and the nurse asked me how much I weighed - I said 205. My mom looks at me and says - WOW I didn't think you weighed that much. I weigh less than you? Now after 44 years I should be used to this but once again it is leaving a mark. I know I have to suck it up and not let it bother me but it does and has... forever... I guess she is right but I guess after 44 years I expect her to say something nice... maybe words of encouragement. Feeling hurt but not discouraged :ohwell: Okay - rant over!!! :sad:
What would I have done differently? got home at 8 from a PTO meeting and should have had a bowl of cereal or something. Instead I had a 60 calorie wrap with hummus, tabouli and some chips. I guess it wasn't too bad but could have left out the chips (which put me over my calories for the day) UGH!!!

GoldK - I'm glad that your problem turned out to be easily handled and doesn't need surgery or anything so serious. About your mother... Is there ANY chance that she meant it as a compliment... such as... WOW you look like you weigh so much less. I feel like I look much larger than you appear. I don't know your mother, so I might be off, but sometimes we expect to get the backhanded compliments so we look for the negative. If that is not the case, /hugs. Trust me... I have a very similar relationship with my mother. I know its very difficult

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? After work I went to the store, put a dinner in the crock pot, then went to work at my Moms for a bit, went to bank, picked up my husband and went to aquafit, a healthy dinner was waiting after we both got exercise for the evening.
What would I have done differently? can't think of anything now
What is today's personal goals? exercise 6 days a week, healthy food, water

Mon - Walk - we'll see Yes went for the walk 25 minutes plus a 15 minute earlier walk

I've been MIA - been on vacation to Savannah and then Folly Beach near Charleston. Great trip! But I ate and drank waaaaayyyyy too much and am having a hard time getting back on track. But I know I will do it soon because the scale is back up to a number I swore I would never see again. Blech!0

I'm glad your MRI looked ok, hopefully the physical therapy will help.
I'm sorry about your mom's comment - my mom would say something similar ... irritating. So I completely understand how you feel.0 -

Goldk: Glad to hear your MRI wasn't calling for surgery. I don't know what your
next step is for treatment, but I am glad you are doing okay.:flowerforyou:

jSandie: I am also celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend, but we are not doing
all the usual food. We are celebrating on Saturday and we are going for
Chinese food. I did buy snacks and dessert but I will be careful with that.

Well, my parents have been in town and staying with me for a week. I have not been good as far as exercise and food goes. On Wednesday, I did: back exercises, 40 push-ups, 50 dips, triceps extensions with 3 lb weights. 30 of the sit ups were done perfectly except that my feet come off the floor a little when I sit up. Arm position was good, etc. I did better with the push-ups today, too! 10 of the wall push-ups were as far from the wall as i could get without falling over. Also, the floor push-ups & the bent knee ones were lower than they've been in the past.
I will do an hour Turbo Jam DVD, tomorrow.
