Bro meal of peace. Salmon fillet (my favourite meal of all time), brocolli, carrot, brown rice.

I'm on a brown rice craze lately. It's just got this really nutty consistency I've been digging lately.

OMG! I love brown rice as well ... LOVE IT  But I try to avoid it as I tend to use it in everything and start making rice puddings, rice cakes, serving all my meals with ... BROWN RICE. I'm a carb addict I believe as I feel the same way about bread. Burgen Soy Lin really should NOT taste so good toasted! Promise to photograph my next meal ... just never thought of doing so before! Good luck with it all :drinker: Cheers!

When I do beef mince, I try to get the leanest quality and then add; frozen mixed veg, onion, garlic, r&g peppers, chillies, kidney beans, mixed herbs, seasoning and whatever else comes to mind. I do this for meals such as stews and curries, it's a healthy option and provides more portions which you can then freeze. I only use sea salt sparingly, not the Saxa type. My last batch provided 5 portions at about 380 cals pp. Once a week I do a hot curry as I crave the hot capsicum heat; those Indian spices are good for you too...

Last night: chipotle-garlic braised pork, carrots, and onions over lentils; ubiquitous broccoli.

    12205675185_18a37f4e2b.jpg

This morning: bacon that didn't crisp over a veggie souffle that didn't rise -- as Patton Oswalt would say, "a failure pile in a sadness bowl." Tasted great, though.

As an aside, do any of you have tips for making my photos look a little more appetizing with my phone camera? I'm terrible at presentation, but the crappy picture quality doesn't help. My house doesn't get much natural light and the electric lights make everything weirdly colored while the flash washes everything out and makes it unpleasantly glisteny.
