Saturday Success: I found a new dress today and the brand is Nine West. It is a pretty pink color but sleeveless. Now, to find shoes to complete the outfit. This dress shows off my waist and gives me a figure. The only problem the wedding I am attending is next Sunday and it might be too cold to go sleeveless. We are suppose to get a wintery mix Sunday night into Monday and the forecast is all over the place from 1- 12 inches. I have not hear the forecast for next Sunday but it is suppose to stay cold throughout the week.

I also went swimming today so that was a success. Tomorrow, I will hit the gym and do a good cardio workout.

I also need to get a new phone or just buy a new battery. The one in my phone is dying so I must decide soon what to do. A new battery is a sure bet since they can be refurbished. Any advice on smart phones?

I managed not to overeat at a banquet tonight so that was good. The bad news is that I ate to much pasta and too many desserts. Of course the sweet stuff was due to TOM that finally started today and the fact that I knew I would overindulge tonight.
At least I did exercise today so that should help.

I hope everyone experiencing the heavy rains are okay and don't have any major problems.

    March Challenge:
I like the green idea so here are our options:
    1. Share a new recipe
    2. Eat a veggie/ salad every day.
    3. Water goal- Add 1-2 more cups to what you normally drink.

Grading Goals: The rest is caught up for now. It was a marathon week of grading
    1. 31 7th grade unit test x/31

@ Kah-- that sounds VERY scary . Please take care!

I'm liking all of those challenges for March!

I know Robin said she'd be taking a break, but I don't remember if she said for how long. Speaking of break, has anyone heard from Toots lately??

@kris--I haven't heard from toots and she hasn't been on MFP in over a month; I've been worried about her as well. I thought robin said she would be back after some doctor appointments on Thursday--I'm also nervous that she got bad news or was admitted back into the hospital.

@laurie--glad you got your swim in today. Even with the cold, I think it's okay to go sleeveless for a formal event. If you're worried about being too cold, could you find a cute sweater or wrap to wear with it?

I think I'm going to shoot for both #1 and #2 for the March Challenge. I'm not much of a cook, so I will try to share a new recipe at least once/week. I just upped my water by 2 glasses, so I will continue that as well.

    March Challenge:
    1. x/4 weeks--Share a new recipe
    2. x/31--Eat a veggie/ salad every day.
    3. x/31--Water goal 12 cups/day

    Grading goals:
    1. 40/71 AP journals
    2. x/18 AP presentations

    Exercise goals:
    Mon--walk gunner DONE
Tues--walk gunner NOT DONE + gym (cardio) DONE
Wed--walk gunner NOT DONE TOO COLD!!!
Thurs--walk gunner NOT DONE + gym (circuit training + HIIT) DONE
    Fri--rest day
Sat--walk gunner DONE + gym (circuit training + HIIT) NOT DONE (shoveled instead)
    Sun--gym (circuit training + HIIT)

I like the March challenge. I feel that I also need to 'green things up' by continuing to focus on water. I definitely don't have that conquered yet.
I understand the need for anonymity on the internet, but it is sure hard when we feel a closeness with people. When they don't check in there is no way to find out what happened. I have been worrying about Robin and Toots, also Alison. I'm glad Mowmow and some of the others have checked in recently.
Kah, glad you are feeling better. That sounds very scary.
    Have a good Sunday. Kaye

I like all the challenges! anxious to see some new recipes!
I need to get in the veggies! AND as we know I surely need tthe challenge of drinking water!
I have managed to get in 7 cups today! That 's really good for me! So I will add another on to make 8!

March came in 'like a lamb' here in KY. It was a pleasant day with 60 degree temp. and little breeze.
Just right for an hour walk! I live next to an elem school and walking there is very nice and I don't have to
go far at all! That is extra nice since I don't drive much any more and I don't like to bother people to drive
    me places.
However, we are supposed to have another round of winter beginning tomorrow...... but spring is closer!

I have been wondering about Robin too. surely pray she is ok.

kah...... what an unsettling day you had! Glad you are feeling better and that sort of thing doesn't happen
    any more.

Happy Sunday to all! I've been reading all your stories .......encouraging! If you can do this , I can too!

@kaye--I feel the same way about people on this thread--I worry when we don't hear from them. I'm thankful that if anything ever happened that prevented me from getting here to let you all know, at least I have garetie ITRW who could come here and fill everyone in.

@kelley--I totally missed your post from earlier about the low BP! We must have posting simultaneously. I saw a few people comment on your "crazy day," but thought maybe they were behind and were talking about your rough week at work. After seeing humblheart's post, I realized I must have missed something and backtracked. Glad you are feeling better today, and hope the doctor figures out what caused the drop so it doesn't happen again. :flowerforyou:

    So many victories today!

I weighed in at 219 this morning :) Officially in the teens. :)
    I ran 3.43 miles in 45 minutes.
And I discovered I've lost almost 70" since starting my weight loss. :)

Hi everyone!! I am some what new, a little about my back ground. I have been struggling with my weight for 7yrs now, since my first born. I was always fit and had tons of energy. I went through a really bad marriage and lost myself. I went from 165 to 320!! Once I left that marriage, I did a shake diet and got down to 235. Found a great man and we started a family. Last year in March I had our son and each month after I put on 5-7 lbs and have really bad swelling and joint pain!! Drs can't figure out why and would only say "your fat, get on weight watchers". I had no idea who I was anymore, hated going out with my friends because I am the fat girl, my kids suffered from me not being able to be active with them. I was so heart broken and knew that I must fight for my life since no one else could help. I am fully devoted to losing weight!! It has been 3 weeks and In that time, I joined the gym, eat 80% clean, And have lost 10lbs!! I feel great but have a long way to go!! I posted a two week result pic up on my FB feed and got so many compliments I was in tears (happy tears)!! Lol I was so motivated and wanted others to feel they way I do. So I started my own group "empowering weight loss". Seeing and reading about their day to day challenges and the pics of the results they have worked so hard to get, has just been amazing!! I am so proud of them all!! I am so proud of the steps I have taken and can't wait to see where I am in a few months!! I feel like a whole new person even though it's only been 10lbs!! Staying strong and kicking fats but day by day!! ;)

Hello everyone (And welcome to people joining just today!). It was a bit of a crazy weekend, and I'm scrambling to get my work for most of the week done now. I made the mistake of weighing myself yesterday and realized I was up a pound. I'm fairly certain that's not physically possible so I'm hoping it's water weight, but it's a little discouraging. Official weigh in with the dietitian is Tuesday so I'm hoping I get a little loss this week.

The next two and a half weeks are going to be HORRIBLE for weight loss for me if I don't plan. A very close friend of mine from the UK is coming to visit via New Zealand and staying in my room for the next two academic weeks. We'll be going on some day trips, and probably taking a four day beginning of Spring break trip to San Francisco. Don't get me wrong I'm THRILLED as I haven't seen her in a year, but the eating out/day trips/making time to work out when I should be hanging out with her and general stress of entertaining in the middle of the semester could be horrible. My goal for this week is to get at least 5 workouts in and stay under cals.

Repeating the final run before I should run a full 5k today. My lower back has been killing lately and my ankle has been hurting post-run, so I'm hoping I feel great after, or else I may have to reconsider my current exercise schedule.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday!

Just a quick check in since I'm packing to leave early in the morning.

Had quite the surprise when I got on the scale this morning.......200.2. I'm hoping the first number is a 1 tomorrow morning, but if not I got darn close to my goal of being under 200 when I left on my trip.

Hope everyone has a great week and I'll check in when I can.

Sunday Share: I’ve been on MFP since August 2012 and following this thread ever since. I’m Susan (surprise, surprise). 45, single mom to an amazing 11 ½ year old son, Cyrus. We live in Henderson, NV, which is a suburb of Las Vegas. I’m the Director of Supply Chain & Quality Assurance for Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop. We have 100 restaurants in 14 states. I’m surrounded by food ALL the time so it can be a challenge. I’ve battled my weight my whole life, but finally really started to take control in 2012. There’s been a TON of ups and downs. Plateaus for months. Pity party’s for weeks. I know what I need to eat. I know how I need to exercise. It’s just the mental battle I’m still battling, but hanging on.

My trip to Phoenix went well until it was time to come home. I was supposed to land at 9:30 p.m. and didn’t get home until 1:30 a.m. after numerous delays. It ended up being a LONG day. Cyrus had baseball practice from 9-12 the next morning so I was on just a few hours of sleep. I’ve been working around the house getting ready for my parents arrival on Saturday for a week. We can’t wait!!! Busy week ahead with a conference Monday-Tuesday plus business dinners, which I’m focusing on seafood and plenty of greens. I will make this week a good one. Thanks for all the gentle kicks in the butt!! I needed it.

@ Laurie – I’ve been through a TON of Speedos. Years ago I was a lifeguard and the stupid pool where I worked was so chlorinated. They bleached out so bad. Congrats on the 14 – nice!! They normally do run small so that’s an awesome sign. You are losing!! Also, how’s Jane’s mom doing?

@ Hayley – So proud of you. You took all the constructive criticism and did what you’re supposed to do. Good for you!!!

@ Hansea – I’m a few days late, but thanks for the slap. Keep slapping me gently!!

@ Karen – Just like Hansea, thanks for the slap. You know I follow your diary too. For the most part, you’re always on track. You have your moments, but they are few and far between. I really thought having the cruise in a few months would get me focused, but no so much. I think I need to go back to the basics and baby steps. I get so worked up and always have an “all or nothing” kind of attitude, which I need to stop immediately. Also, good job passing on the Blondie especially coming from the sad face student. LOL!!

@ Kris- I’m a little behind on posts, but girl you have me laughing!!!! Yes, move to Vegas, we can pretend we’re going to be show girls and wear our shock collars to get skinny. LOL!!!!

@ Kelly – I haven’t had a chance to open the article, but I’m going too. I think mine could be stress. While I think I keep things somewhat balanced and say I’m not depressed, I think I’m masking more things then I realize. I’ll get through this, but like I mentioned to Karen I need to stop the attitude if I fail then I’m a complete failure. I need to get over it and get right back on track immediately. Also, read your post about the low blood pressure – yikes! I know how scary that can be when your body isn’t quite right.

@ Welcome to all the new faces!!

@ Nettie – I was so glad to read your post about the insurance claim. I know that’s been heavy on your mind. Great news!!

@ Doug – Good to see you back. I was wondering where you went, but you know many of us do understand. This journey is so tough, but we’re here for you whether there’s an E or not on that crazy scale. I know you can do this!!!

@ P1x – Congrats on the 8 lbs for February!! Woo Hoo!!! I know for my son the grades are posted online. Often, I’ll see an MI, which stands for missing assignment. I stay on top of my son and his teachers ALL the time. My son is in middle school this year so I have 6 teachers to manage and I’m e-mailing one of them at least once a week. E.S. is a little different and I’m surprised you haven’t heard from the teacher. They micromanaged the kids a LOT more. The older they get not at all. It’s up to the students. Like Nettie said, you definitely need a chat with your son and he needs to take that responsibility too, BUT I would be on the teacher very hard.

@ KarenL – I’ll take your virtual slap and send you one too. Thanks for the note!!

@ Ushkii – I’m so proud of you!! Cookies and cupcakes, but you said NO!! You rock!!!

@ RobinB – You’re exactly right. I can do this. I normally plan something sweet into my day as well. Lately though I’ve been eating “extra” though and that’s what set me off. I’m slowly getting myself back on, but if I pull the boot straps any more I’ll be having a serious wedgie. LOL!!!

@ L2T – Thanks!! Prelogging normally helps me too. As far as the scale, I can’t do daily because my anxiety heats up when I see the scale up. When you’re eating, exercising and doing everything 100%, but the scale doesn’t budge or even creeps up a bit, I get so frustrated. I’m trying to weigh in just once a week and only focus on my monthly loss versus weekly. My TOM really plays havoc with my numbers too, which is something I’ve learned while on this journey. I know earlier in the week you were so bummed not to hit Onederland, but I just saw your recent post and your .2#’s away – Woo Hoo!!!!! Have a great time in Cabo!! You deserve it!!

@ Kris – Love your baby steps. I think I need to do something similar. Great idea!

@ Kaye – I agree with you and L2T. I need to focus on the accountability versus will power. It’s something I’ve always beat myself up about and need to just stop. Why are we our worst critics? I need to quite being so hard on myself. I’m glad your daughter got some answers about your grandson. For so many of our children, they go without diagnosis and struggle so bad. Cyrus has ADD and while we tried so many options we decided on medication. I know some may not agree, but it has helped him so much. We went through many months and different dosages, but now he’s an honor roll students and can focus so much more.

@ Nicole – Nice to see you!! Congrats on the no smoking! I know how tough that can be. Hang tough!!

@ Alupinsk – Woo Hoo!!! I’m so proud of you!!! Keep it going!

@ Queen – I hope you join the gym. I know you did like it before and perhaps it will be the little kick you need to get going again.

Susan- Thanks. Jane’s mom is not doing well at all. She may have suffered a stroke this weekend and is now in hospice care. It is very hard to hear about everything that Jane and her mom are dealing with right now. I meant to tell you that there is a Capriotti’s near where I live, granted it is about 20-30 miles away but I do pass it on my way to the ocean. It is in Queen Anne’s County, MD. The next time I go biking on the shore, I will get my friend to stop for lunch there.

Nettie-I have not tried rock scrambling but if it is like Bouldering, I don’t think I want to try it. Bouldering has way to many risk if you fall or land wrong coming down. Rock climbing I have a harness and someone to lower me down safely.

L2T-Nice surprise and I hope your wish comes true. Drink water on your trip but try to avoid the local water-no experience but that is what I have heard.

Rain- Chances are that the gain is due to water weight. Weight does change daily and so many factors can impact it so keep doing what you are doing. Drink plenty of water the next couple of days and that should help as well. Enjoy the time with your friend and remember you will do lots of walking on your day trips so that should help as well. You can always find a place with a salad or sandwich for lunch. Do you need new running shoes?

Conscott84- Welcome to the group. You have found a great place to start and find support.

    Ana-Welcome.

Alupinsk- Great loss for both categories the weight and the inches and you had a nice run today.

Kelley- I hope they figure out what caused the drop in BP- could it be due to low sodium?

Kaye- You are so right, the people on this thread have become like family to me as well. I also get concerned when people go missing for a extended periods of time.

Humbleheart- If I look at yesterday, the March came in like a lamb here as well however tonight into tomorrow we are expecting a huge snow storm. It has been raining most of the day today. I just hope we don’t get freezing rain tonight while the change over happens. Right now we are expecting anywhere from 4-10 inches.

Susan, Karen, Kelley and Tom- The link to the Tunnel 2 Towers 5K has been posted and registration is now open.

My name is Laurie, 43 and I started this journey about 3.5 year ago when I weighed 268 lbs. My first goal was to get below 200 and I have accomplished that goal. Then my weight went back up but now it is below 200 again about. Still not as low as I want it go so I am still working through this process. During this experience, I have engaged in many new activities and have discovered a love of exercise and being active.

I will have snow day tomorrow due the pending storm and the predicted snowfall between 4-14 inches that will last until tomorrow night. The amount will be determined by the rain snow line and how far North or South it goes and how much cold air comes into the area and when. This is typical for my area. I believe many of you are also experiencing the same storm since this is the storm that drenched California and is causing trouble across the US.

Today, was a good workout in preparation for the triathlon next weekend. I biked (spin) for 30 minutes and completed 14 miles then ran for 20 minutes on the treadmill and went 1.48 miles. My goal is to practice running at a 5.0 speed this week, I am sure I can do it but I want to improve my distance during the triathlon next week.

    Exercise plans
Sunday- Bike (30 min) and running (20 min)
Monday- Shoveling snow and trainer (?)
    Tuesday- Gym
    Wednesday- Trainer workout
    Thursday- Rest
    Friday- Climbing
    Saturday- Rest
    Sunday-Triathlon

Our beautiful Jane Kaye received her name and a wonderful father's blessing in church today. I've changed my profile picture for a couple of days in her honor. My son made me cry when he blessed her that she would take the wonderful qualities of the women for whom she is named and make them a part of her life, thus honoring them and her heritage throughout her life.
Welcome to all of the new people who have peeked in this week. Please stay and participate with us. You will find many friends and a lot of help here. The accountability that I receive from participating here is priceless in my success.
By way of introduction, I am quite literally the grandmother of the group, nearing my 70th birthday. I have been married for 48 years, have 7 married children, 14 grandchildren, plus some steps and fosters. My family is a huge part of my life. We care for our youngest daughter's 2 children during the week while she works.
I started MFP in September 2012 and this thread shortly after. I have been on this journey many times with varying degrees of success. This time I have tried to structure my plan in a simple enough way that I can continue for the rest of my life. I don't want to start over! My exercise consists mostly of walking. We live in Western Idaho where the weather can interfere with it sometimes.
To anyone who thinks that maybe they are too old, you aren't. If you think you can't afford it, you can. I don't buy special food, just control portions. I don't have any gadgets, no gym membership or personal trainer.
    We can do this.
To my friends here, I cherish you, celebrate your victories and hurt when you hurt. Hang in there. I think that 'synergy' really applies to this group.
    Onward and downward. Kaye

Oh boy. I'm not hitting my sleep goals this weekend.

It was one looooong day on Saturday. My friend is deathly afraid of winter driving, and we had gotten a couple inches of snow Friday night. So, I was up with the sun, drove all 10 hours round trip from my house to the Apostles Islands on Lake Superior, experienced the *thrills and chills* of a port-a-john in winter, hiked approximately 4 miles on the snow and ice on the lake, climbed in and out of caves, spent about 3 hours out in the fresh air, sunshine and negative wind chills (Thank God for Carhart and Thinsulate!), and arrived home around 10 pm. I then stayed up until after midnight talking with my husband about the events of the day and looking at my pictures.

And today. Sunday, I was up early again to get the family up and out the door to church. When I woke up.....talk about DOMS! I think I may be old. Or at least, I'm not as young as I used to be! I was tired, sore, and a little dehydrated. Hung. Over. Well, I'm still tired. No naps for the weary Mommy! But, at least I dropped the muscle soreness as the day went on and drank enough water.

Anyway, it was all worth it. My friend and I had a great time and the ice caves were amazing!

I'm excited to share that I've also lost 3 lbs this week! Woo hoo!

There's so much snow and cold around here, it's hard to believe it's March. I like the veggie challenge idea! Let's go green!

    1. 0/4 weeks: Try a new veggie or do something new with an old veggie and share the recipe.
    2. 1/31 days: Eat 3-5 servings of veggies each day.
    3. 0/31 nights: Get 8 hours of sleep.

Had to change my profile picture to one from the ice cave trip. I look tiny next to those massive ice formations!

Welcome to all the new people checking in! Keep coming back. It helps!

Sunday Share: My name is Amanda. I'm 34, married for 7 years, with two kids (daughter 6, son 5), two cats, two turtles and one fish. I've always struggled with my weight, but the scale reached all new heights after carrying and giving birth to my children. I was almost 300 lbs at my highest weight when I started MFP at the end of 2012. The first year, I lost about 40 lbs, but only kept off 16. This year, I found this thread and I'm hoping it will make all the difference.

I did a post earlier that somehow disappeared before it got onto the board :(

Welcome to the new folks! You will find this a great group of people and recieve all the encouragement
and inspirations you could ever want! Check in daily !

Sunday share.......... I am Camille from Ky..... 60 yrs old and a retired elementary teacher.
I try to live up to the name Humbleheart but fail miserably most days. when I signed into MFP
I tried a zillion usernames only to be rejected. I'd just done a devotion about having an humble
heart and put that never thinking it would accept it! So it may be a bit misleading!

That nice mild Mar 1 in Ky was short lived......tonight we are getting ice! Lots of ice!

Happy Monday.....I took the weekended off and went to hotel stay with my friend. It was nice to relax and get away eventhough we stayed right here in Mpls. The eating was a lot of eating out and room service but back on track today. I am finally starting to not feel overwhelmed with school classes.

I tried to stop in yesterday but then my internet went down so I never got to post. I am going to try to get in a quick post now while it is working again. If you don't see me a day or two that is why. I can access MFP occasionally through the app but can't visit the forums.

I have some questions about running.
~When starting C25K, how many days a week should it be done for? Someone suggested run 3 days a week and on off days do strength training.
    ~How long is a run?
~Arm band for iPhone. Do you recommend one? Are they comfortable to wear?
~Foam rollers. Someone suggested I invest in one and just bought one yesterday. Any recommendations on instructional videos for it? I found this one that seemed pretty helpful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khC5J1lkC7s
I also found this one and liked the explanation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bq6NcAoQDSk
~When running outside, do you bring a bottle of water with you or do you wait until you are finished running to drink.

I cannot remember the rest of the questions I had wanted to ask yesterday. I am sure they will come to me as time goes on.

Kah - Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well. Hopefully that was a one time thing and it never happens again.

Skinny - I like the ideas you came up with for March.

Laurie - Maybe you can wear a wrap or dressy sweater with the dress if it is cold on the wedding day?

I have used both android phones and the iPhone. I loved my droid (can't remember which one). My only problem is the battery life was very short, even with the extended life battery. I switched over to the iPhone when I accidentally cracked the screen. I was up for a new phone with Verizon so switching wasn't a big deal. I switched to the iPhone 5 and instantly fell in love with it. My contract is up again in October and I most definitely will be going with a newer model of the iPhone. It takes great pictures and videos, has plenty of room for music and apps, no problem with battery life or with the phone operating as it should. I recently received an iHome that works as a clock radio. I charge my phone at night using the iHome. I play my music through it as I am getting ready for work or to go out. The sound is great.

Kaye - I agree. I often get worried about some of my MFP friends when they just disappear. I always try to reach out to them after they are MIA for a few days. Sometimes they respond sometimes they don't. :ohwell:

Alupinsk - That is fantastic. :drinker:

    Ana - Welcome!

Conscott - Welcome. I can completely relate when you said you were so big that you were not comfortable going out with friends anymore. My social life has certainly suffered due to my weight.

Rain - The scale has been fluctuating all weekend for me as well. I don't get what is going on. All week I have been carefully measuring everything, drinking my water and exercising. I saw a drop in weight and this weekend I was back up 1 lb. This morning too. It certainly is discouraging.

Lives - I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

    Craftycrush - Welcome.

Hansea - I love the new profile picture. It sounds like you had a great time!
    Congrats on the loss!
I have 2 cats as well and 1 turtle. What kind of turtles do you have? I have a Malaysian Box.

    Pamelaralph - Welcome.

Late on a Sunday Share. I'm Tracy. I am 40 years old, married, have two children and work out of my tiny apartment in Bismarck, ND. After having a house on the market for over 1 1/2 years, it finally sold in December and we are looking forward to house hunting this spring.

I've been gone for almost a full month now, but ready to get going again. I had a pretty bad sinus/double ear infection at the beginning of February that threw me for a loop. Then I headed out on a wonderful vacation. A disney cruise to the Bahamas and then three days at Disney World with my Mom and all of her family. We had wonderful weather and great memories. I came back to cold and dry weather and immediately got my sinus infection back. I've been on meds since Thursday and still don't feel well. I'm trying to be patient, but my patience is waining. :explode: Luckily, I've been able to stay on course. I only gained 0.2 pounds in the month that I was "out of it."

Ready to feel better, get back to the gym, get back to eating well and back to catching up with all of you. I've definitely missed this message board and the wonderful people on it.

@kaye--I feel the same way about people on this thread--I worry when we don't hear from them. I'm thankful that if anything ever happened that prevented me from getting here to let you all know, at least I have garetie ITRW who could come here and fill everyone in.

Skinny I always have your back!!!

Hi there...sorry if i posted this incorrectly, i am new to posting here, but not new to Myfitnesspal. I need to lose 100+ lbs probably to be honest 120 would be ideal. I lost about 80lbs 6 years ago, quit smoking 2 years ago and put weight back on and then some :( so dissapointed in myself, and not finding myself motivated to stick with anything! I am usually better off at things if i am accountable, so i thought i would try here! I have not eaten red meat (beef or pork) for about a year and a half so that's a bit of a challenge too.

I am 45, and finding losing weight at this age harder then before:( I was reading some of your posts today while at work, and found it very inspiring. I am hoping that reading how well you are all doing it will inspire me and i can stick to it :)

You are all very inspiring and seem to be doing an amazing job!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

I had a tough weekend and didn't make it to the gym. With working, sick kids, and a messy house everything got out of hand. I didn't even get to do my grocery shopping done so now I have to find a healthy lunch with the little I have at work. ;( I feel really sluggish today. But I am trying really hard not to let it bring me down!! I have lost 10lbs and hoping for another 3lbs before Saturday my 30th bday. Either way I will be happy...

Robin- hope you feel better SOON!!

happy monday!! we had another dump of snow over the weekend then freezing rain so i did not go outside and walk. Today it is just regular pouring rain so my walk home from the lab was cold, wet, and slushy :grumble:
