    Well, here we are to the last week of December. But, since there are only five days of this week, and it is a busy, busy week for me, I do not think I am going to get 360 minutes in, but I am going to do what I can even with only having five days.

    Monday = 15 min of jumping rope and 15 minutes of weighted hula hoop

    Total so far this week = 30 minutes

    Tuesday = 60 min of walking/running/jumping rope/hula hooping

    Total so far this week = 90 minutes

    Wednesday = 55 min of 3.0 walking

    Total so far this week = 145 min

    Reflect first, then plan.

    On New Year's Eve, many people talk about their plans for the coming year. They make resolutions and hope for better times ahead. But before you start down the resolution path, pause for a moment and truly reflect. What can you learn from the past year about yourself? Have you discovered what works in terms of your health and what doesn't?

    You can make resolutions soon (or better yet, set goals), but today look back. You owe it to yourself to learn your lessons, so that you can grow wiser and healthier in the coming year.

    Action for the day: Even if you usually don't journal, take a few minutes to do this exercise. Make a list of things you wish you had done differently this past year, and then a list of what you did well. Next to the things you wish you had done differently, write down a step you can take to ensure you won't repeat that mistake. Next to the things you did well write down what you can do to continue having success in that area. Read this list every morning in January.

    Good afternoon all and happy hump day! I'm so excited because my Turbo Fire package arrived yesterday. I had a chance to review a few of the workouts and skim over the reading material and I'm very hopeful that I'll be able to complete the program and get good results too. I was going to begin on January 17, 2011 but decided to go for it beginning Monday. I ordered a hrm on Ebay and I'm hoping it arrives before then so I can start off in the right direction.

    My plan is to read over all the materials and make my shopping list based on the nutritional guide before Sunday and be ready to start strong on Monday.

    Since I'm starting the Turbo Fire/Chalean Extreme hybrid next week I decided to keep this week's workout pretty low key.


    Monday: 30 minutes of the Fat Blaster dvd from the Chalean Extreme program.
    Tuesday: 40 minutes of the Core Rhythms full workout dvd
    Wednesday: 30 minutes of the Cardio-week 1 dvd from the Kettleworx series.
