I completed some type of exercise EVERYDAY in 2010 except January 3. So, if I complete a workout from now until January 4, 2011 I will have done some type of exercise everyday for an entire year. This was a goal I wanted to attain and I'm proud of myself for doing it but I can't lie I'm looking forward to having a day that does not involve 2 mile walks, yoga, stretching, jogging, ellipticals, spinning bikes or workout dvds.

Monday: 30 minutes of the Fat Blaster dvd from the Chalean Extreme program.
Tuesday: 40 minutes of the Core Rhythms full workout dvd
Wednesday: 30 minutes of the Cardio-week 1 dvd from the Kettleworx series.
Thursday: 30 minutes of the Burn It Off dvd from the Chalean Extreme program.
Friday: 20 minutes of the Recharge dvd from the Chalean Extreme program and 30 minutesof walking.
  • 150 mins. on Monday at gym
60 mins on Tuesday at gym
15 mins of Physical Therapy Exercise Weds.
60 mins on Friday at gym

and 25 minutes of the Insanity Fit Test.

My new Polar FT40 HRM arrived today and I tested it by completing the Insanity Fit Test.

A1Schwei: Thank you for the support. I can't believe I was able to accomplish this with all the little obstacles that were thrown my way and the traveling I did. Since walking is the easiest type of exercise for me to do I tried to incorporate that in when too busy to do an actual dvd or gym workout. I would park my car and walk the 2.5 miles to and from the grocery store (no major grocery shopping) or the pharmacy.

Friday = 70 min of 2.0 walking and 35 min of roller skating

I liked having this challenge for the month of December and I found myself pushing myself more to make sure that I could report, here, that I was either getting close or completing my minutes for the week. So, for myself personally, I am going to make this a month to month challenge. I hope everyone will follow. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Today I started the year off right by attending boot camp at Fit Neighborhood. Today we played baseball. Each exercise represented a base and a "man in between bases". Round 1: 5 inchworms, 10 jumping jacks, 5 push ups, 10 jump squats, 10 seated dips, 10 jumping jacks and 10 oblique crunches. One you completed all these exercises your team scored a point and then you begin the circuit again. Round 2: 10 sit ups w/lbs, 3 sumo burpees, 10 plank rows w/lbs, 3 sumo burpees, 10 pulsing lunges, 3 sumo burpees and 10 bicycle crunches.......Great fun!

    This week's workout totals:

Monday: 30 minutes of the Fat Blaster dvd from the Chalean Extreme program.
Tuesday: 40 minutes of the Core Rhythms full workout dvd
Wednesday: 30 minutes of the Cardio-week 1 dvd from the Kettleworx series.
Thursday: 30 minutes of the Burn It Off dvd from the Chalean Extreme program.
Friday: 20 minutes of the Recharge dvd from the Chalean Extreme program, 30 minutesof walking
and 25 minutes of the Insanity Fit Test
Saturday: 60 minutes of boot camp
