NO PAIN! Nopey....drop back the weights, FOR SURE!
Gawd, I haven't made it to the gym since Wednesday....this is CRAZY.0 -
Hi! Wondering if I can be a cool kid too? :-)0
-
TODAY, I LIFT!
BOOM!0 -
Good Luck Kelly Sue!!! You can do it!!! Your grandson pic is adorable!!! :-)0
-
Got my lifting done. Feeling MUCH better, today! I am starting "90 days of Venus"....just basically making sure I am progressing on the nutrition/fitness front (tired of trying to be PERFECT and figure "progression" is a better thought!)0
-
I have made it through a week of the 30 day shred! So pleased with myself for sticking with it every day. Feel like I can already feel the benefits. Anyone else do that workout?0
-
Thanks Grammanut!! I do love that boy!
I walked on my lunch break today since I will not be at the gym until Saturday. I have an all day training to attend tomorrow and we have to leave by 7:30 to be there by 8:30. The only problem for me is that I have to drive almost 1/2 hour to meet up with the other people attending the training and then we have about an hour drive to get there, plus Hubby is going to work out and I have to drop him off before I leave in the am. I get done earlier than normal, but by the time the transportation is added on, it will be 5:00 before I get back. LOOONNG DAY!0 -
That *is* a LONG DAY, KellySue!!!
I am going back to the gym, today....to LIFT (again!)0 -
Happy Friday Cool Kids...Hope all of you are well and in good spirits.
My trainer took it to me yesterday. MY HRM was at 550 when we were done. We are going to start more training so I can be ready for my first 5k in July.
Beeps, I know one way or another you are going to get your lift in.
Pickles I have never done the 30 day shred, yet I have heard good things about it.
KellySue--I hope you made out well with training and not as busy today.
Have a great day everyone. Remember to encouage someone, it may be the dose of medicine they need.
BOOM!!!!!!0 -
....i love the support, caramel!
I got NO lifting in....got called away to a lunch, as a favour to my boss.0 -
Beeps, that means double duty for you tomorrow.
I am really enjoying the weights. I am reading all this stuff on your first 5k run. I will read a 5k for dummies book at this point (lol).
Happy Friday everyone0 -
Yeah, it SHOULD mean "double-duty" tomorrow....but it won't.
I'll plop in a weight-training session on my normal sunday rest day....no problemo!0 -
Hi cool kids, hope you are well.
I took step-intense training today and the weight lifting part was great as usual.
I hope all of you had a great weekend.
Beeps were you able to do double duty?0 -
Good Monday Morning Cool Kids! Survived training Friday- it was actually a very good training and the presenters were very entertaining!
Made it to the gym Saturday for my cardio workout and then Sunday went for a ride on my bike as it was an absolutely gorgeous day! Today I did go to the gym and did my scheduled circuit workout.
Tomorrow I hope to start Day 1/Week 2 of the C25K program- hopefully it won't rain. I find that I enjoy running outside so much more than I do inside.
Keep up the good work everyone!! Have a great day!0 -
caramel - I did NOT do any "double duty"....was time-crunched, boooooooooo. I did WAY too much cardio this weekend! (It just makes me hungry...)
So, back to the weights, today, and will work on increasing my strength for the next few months....that means fewer reps (in the 6- to 8- range) and higher weights! yay! That also means time saved....which is great....I want my work-outs in-and-done in 60!0 -
Good afternoon!
Made it through Level 1 of 30 Day shred! Feeling so much stronger.
Hope everyone is having a good start to the week. :-)0 -
It will be a GREAT WEEK, for sure!
BOOM!0 -
Happy Monday Cool Kids.. Ran my first ever Trail Run 5k on Friday night....It was... rough but I finished. I placed 86th out of 88..LOL But I am very proud of myself and have no where to go but up.
Hope everyone has a great Monday0 -
Skoal from sunny Sweden!
Marathon is complete.
Lots of walking / sightseeing now.
Stockholm is a beautiful city, but folks aren't overly friendly or helpful.
We are finally starting to get the groove of things....finally!
It was quite a trip getting here.....so many delays. Added a full day to our travels, which equated to longer jet lag.
Just wanted to pop in and say "he" (pronounced hey in Swedish). :happy:0 -
Hey cool kids
Hope all of you are well and in good spirits.
Sderski, glad you made it safely and getting acclimated. Hope you are having a wonderful time.
Faytwain, congrats on your Trail run. Are you signed up already for your next one?
Pickles, let me know how you like the 30 day shred.
Beeps, I know your game face is on. Kick butt...
I am sore from extreme fit and expect nothing less.0
