This weekend was pretty bad foodwise. It was a birthday weekend for my son and the menu was hard to fight off entirely. I did get to the gym Saturday tho.
Did you stay within your nutritional goals? No
Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Did not set any, didn't do anything yesterday really.
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Nothing really
What would I have done differently? Should've gotten in a workout.
What is today's personal goals? Get in a GOOD workout at the gym, to walk on all breaks today (I get two plus a lunch break) AND stay under 1200 calories--period. No eating back what I exercise as I figure that's OK to do today to help make up for my weekend.
Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...)? Prepped a vegetable Fritatta to cook for dinner tonight. We will see how that goes, 320 claories and 25 grams of protein.
Mood today? OK so far. I am at work

My mom was in the hospital for a few days, but went home on Saturday. She is better, but still unable to get up much or walk without a walker as she hasn't lost the dizziness completely - but it is improved enough that she isn't getting violently ill every time she has to move. They ruled out most serious things since a cat scan and MRI didn't show anything - so they think just a very severe case of vertigo. So it's a relief that it isn't anything more serious, but not very pleasant for her!

Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...)? The vegetable fritatta was fantastic. Alot of food for only 320 calories

I was going to do yoga but someone thought it would be a good idea to schedule a work meeting at the same time :sad: This is the first class since June. The Y is going through a renovation and we haven't had any space to do yoga. Oh well. I will try for Thursday's class.

I did not eat the Bell Pepper as I like the flavor but don't like chewing on a bell pepper. It was stuffed with beef and rice in a tomatoey sauce. It was delicious!!! I thought that I would not like it, but decided to try it, anyway. It is very high in sodium if anyone is thinking of trying it.
Mood today? Anxious, nervous, tired most of the day, but now I am Happy as things I was nervous and anxious about went well.

Try making the stuffed peppers from scratch then you can cut down on the sodium. I love stuffed peppers. I use ground turkey, rice or quinoa, tomato sauce or diced tomato, and instead of green peppers I sometimes use yellow and orange. Mix it up! Same stuffing works for stuffed zucchini too. Oh... I don't forget the cheese on top :bigsmile:0 -

Did you try something new recently (food, exercise, etc...)? Starting calisthenics. I can't do a single push-up! I'll get there but it's gonna take some work. Just a bit of a shocker. I've come a long way in my eyes but I have so far still to go.

LINDA - My husband hurt his back in June. We lost a month of sailing this summer due to that.
Also his mom was in the hospital for a week. A tough summer but we got through it.
His back is much better due to chiropractic and massage. Now to get the results of the MRI
and we can go from there. Thanks for asking. :flowerforyou:
