I can tie my shoes with little or no grunting and groaning.
I can have fun over the weekend without alcohol (a biggie for me).
I can spend an hour working out and actually enjoy it and look forward to the next time.
I can walk past all the candy dishes at work without getting a piece from each one.0 -
I joined MFP not too long ago and I am proud to say that it has encouraged me to make better choices in what I eat and also to start working out. I am now doing Zumba about once a week and other cardio at home 2-3 times a week even though I am at my heaviest I've ever been. I'm hoping that I will start to notice the results.
Everyone's comments on here are very inspiring and I hope to review these often to see what improvements everyone has made and I hope to add my own!!0 -
I can button all the buttons on my shirt without any gaps.

I can jog a mile without stopping and dance the entire hour long Zumba class without stopping for a break! (other than a quick sip of water between songs). I never thought I'd be able to do that!! My next goal is a 5K!0

I can run 10k and feel fine at the end (6 months ago I nearly collapsed doing 10k), I HOPE I can run a half marathon, which I wouldn't have dreamed of 6 months ago!
I can wear a size 10 (UK)

Trying to think of something to add for myself and thinking there isn't anything... well that's just me being negative (or tired) which is not what this thread is about, so.....
I cam do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred levels 2 and 3 back to back. When I first got it I barely got through level one, and it took me weeks toove up levels!0 -
Just got back from vacation, and was able to get up on waterskis - this was a goal I had for summer, but it came early.
It had been 25 years . . . btw, destroyed my entire upper body doing so, I'll be sidelined for a bit, but totally worth it!0 -

What fun! A great accomplishment! I haven't been on wAter skis since I was a teenager (yup that was more than 25 years ago) wouldn't have thought to try it again! Way to go!0 -
Got back from mexico a week ago. Played beach volleyaball everyday, never coudl have done that before. No extender belt on airplane either :-00

I go all day without getting sleepy and no longer feel like i need to nap.
I can job a mile in 10 minutes which is pretty darn good for a smoker,that and when i started I couldnt walk a mile on the treadmill

Well, I can no longer wear any of my jeans - they are all too big!! lol
Also, i was able to walk up the huge hill behind my house (8 KM from the base to the top and back) under 90 minutes without taking a break!0 -

I can knock out 100 real push-ups in less than 5 minutes and I can do chin-ups. I never thought I'd be able to get a single chin-up done!0

I can walk up 3 flights of steps at my job and not feel like Im going to pass out when I get to my desk. I used to need 5 minutes just sitting in my chair before starting my day because of those stairs.
I can workout (INSANITY..week 2) and keep up a little bit better with Shaun T and the crew. Most of all I am losing weight without any of those crappy and lose weight quick methods that are not good for my body. Im doing it the correct way 8- )0 -

A few pull ups
50 sit ups
25 push ups
An hour on the elliptical
Play a reasonable game of racquetball
Fit into clothes from 30 years ago
Have a wonderful lover.0 -
I can admit that it isn't "just a really bad pic of me" ! thats ME
I can do push -ups much easier
I can be thrilled to wake up sore every morning
I can do my exercise time and NOT feel guilty about telling my 6 kid-o's to stay out of the room:)
I can watch my family eat dessert and not clean up their crumbs!!
Best of all....I can continue on this journey until I have formed a way of life!!0 -

As for me!! I can fit into size 14 pants (actually FIT in them too, like able to leave the house!!)
I can do 100 pushups (in sets and from my knees, not all at once but I’m working on it!
I can say that I am no longer obese!
I can grocery shop and not end up back home thinking “oh, I shouldn’t have bought that!”
After months of using my food scale and measuring everything I’ve gotten much better at “eyeballing” serving sizes when I need to.
Wow, it feels so good to write those out… when I came on here I thought I had nothing to add today… LOL! Glad I pondered it a little!!
