    Good morning, losers! Happy Friday!

Congrats to all of this week's losers! About 5 weeks left until Easter! Like Marie mentioned, it will be cool to see what the grand total is for our combined weight loss. We are all winners regardless of meeting our goal or not. Every day that we eat mindfully and move our bodies is a non-scale victory.

Gym day-personal training and Aquafit. I am looking forward to it as yesterday was a rest day.

    Have a great day, everyone.
    Stay strong!

Connie (loves retirement) I like your thoughts about the challenge continuing on towards July 4th. I really see this as my new life instead of a diet. I've felt more hungry this week and not much losing going on. But I'm going to try more fruit instead of chocolate for next week. Happy Friday everyone!

Webby.... Some fruits have a really high sugar/carb count. Only eat it if you like it...

This is a must goal, or I will have deny myself my famous double smoked maple/cherry ham on Easter.

    Thanks for the motivation

    Hi,
I just found your thread. I know I'm a little "tardy", but would like to join. I will shoot for losing at least 10 pounds by Easter. I have been a member for a long time, and had lost a total of almost 50 lbs. since my heaviest. I have gained 10 pounds in the last 4 months and couldn't seem to get it together. I've been logging again for the last 5 days, and finally think I have my eating under control. It will be great to have this group to keep me motivated.

Good Morning everyone, we have sun for now clouds will be starting to roll in and the snow will start flying again tomorrow or Sunday, I am ignoring the weather people.

Today is weigh in day for me I have been on this challenge 1 week. Here are my stats: I adjusted my goal for the challenge as I hadn't realized the timing to Easter last week, wow.

    SW 174.3
    CW 172.3
    Weeks Completed 1
    GW for the challenge 162
    This weeks loss 2lbs
    Total Loss for challenge: 2lbs

I'm happy with the loss. I really wasn't sure how things would go as I certainly wasn't eating enough or properly this week, pretty much the Brat diet for me due to being ill. Things are coming around so next week should be better on that front. My goal is to add exercise I have been a slacker on that for far too long. I read a post from a friend on Facebook:

"It's just so funny how I thought a good mom puts herself last. Now I'm a much better mom when I take care of myself."

This has really resonated with me because as a FT working, business owner, single mom of 3 kids under 10 I am constantly running from one place to the other constantly putting everyone's needs above my own. I get home and by the time I get everyone to bed and check my work email one last time I crash. I am not a morning person I can't get up earlier than the 6. I need to figure out a plan! Sorry for the rant~

Enjoy your weekend everyone! Here's to many wins this coming week!!

H, I have been absent because I lost this thread :( Good news I am on track to meet the 20 lb loss by Easter goal with just under 8 lb. loss in a month. That is the most I have ever lost in a month on any program so I am cautiously optimistic. Well, I'll go back and read some of the thread to catch up. Hope you "see less of me" next time I check in.

Kenea, great goal sounds like an all around good work out. Thanks for reminding me about planks and push-ups. Since I changed trainers he's had me doing other stuff... I'm gonna reintroduce them into my routine. As I remember it was SO challenging increasing my seconds holding plank and increased reps for push-ups but great core and upper body workout. Thanks for the inspiration :) Cat

Its time to start thinking of the name of the new challenge cause I'm gonna need it and a few more after that. Doing it is 20 pound increments makes it much more doable!
