How do you get rid of toxins?

Oh man...what's with all of the catty, snide remarks? One of my biggest pet peeves on MFP are people who take precious time out of their day to post condescending and patronizing replies to people who are genuinely trying to better themselves by asking fellow MFPers for help/advice. Maybe they're not as "educated" as you are, YET....maybe they're still trying to figure things out... but everyone has to start somewhere (think back to when you started on your journey and admit, it probably seemed pretty daunting and overwhelming at first!). If you want to offer your advice and share what has worked for you, great... but can you maybe try to do it without belittling the OP at the same time? Just sayin'.0

I concentrate really hard, meditate really. And focus on telling my kidneys and liver to do their job.
If they don't, I threaten them with crappy beer.0 -

How exactly is she measuring your toxin levels? This sounds like a crock of *kitten* to me...

I'm glad you cleared that up. The apostrophe ended up in the wrong place in my head!

At best your massage therapist is misinformed. At worst she's scamming you.

Ignore the bit about alkaline diets-- it's bunk. The guy who came up with the concept is a germ theory denialist, if that helps you determine how scientifically minded he is.

I have a dentist appointment today, maybe I should ask him how to get rid of the toxins...??0

Dirty, dirty toxins!
(This should not be considered an endorsement for Planet Fitness, which is by far the lousiest gym I've ever had the misfortune of joining. But I can't see a post about "toxins" without posting this.)0
