I drank Diet Mountain Dew at 9am today because I had to sit through a supervisor training with only two other people, so I couldn't properly goof off.0

This thread makes me want to try Firehouse Subs.
@Francl27 it's SO good! My favorite sandwich place by far. It is pricey, but it's worth it in my opinion. Oh, and they have the calories for each sandwich posted on their menu board. I would recommend the Hook & Ladder, the Hero (my favorite) or the Italian. My husband has only ever ordered the meatball, except on Saturday where he tried the New Yorker which he liked.

I know people that drink soda first thing in the morning like other people drink coffee. I would be so sick if I tried to do that. It just doesn't even sound good to me. I can't drink soda unless it's with a meal or salty snack. Preferably kettle cooked chips.

I sometimes wonder whether the MFP forums had something to do with me losing my job recently. A few months before the big redundancy I was told off for excessive internet use and it was 100% MFP forums.
I am somewhat envious that everyone else seems to get away with it so well!0 -

Afternoon confession: I have enough calories left over today that I was going to splurge and buy a Baby Ruth candy bar from the vending machine at work. That was until I realized it was $0.75. I am too cheap to spend that much on a freakin' candy bar. Is that how much they are now?! It's been so long since I bought one I had no idea.

I've been a stay at home mom for a couple of years, and I'm casually looking for some part-time office work. The income would basically be to pay off a student loan, so it isn't urgent. The confession part is that I'm dragging my feet because I don't want to buy office clothes in my current size. I've already gone down two pant sizes, and I'd just hate to buy clothes I can only wear for a month or two. My husband would probably have an epic eye roll if I told him that.
I am the office manager for a Redi-Mix cement plant and I wear jeans and a bunnyhug to work every day. It is very dusty and someone is always managing to get grease everywhere, so I am not going to wear nice clothes, just to get them ruined.0 -

I rarely go into convenience stores, but Saturday I went in one and the candy bars, regular size, were $1.29!!! EACH!!!0 -

Spending my whole life after thirteen years old being over 220lbs, I've dropped too much and afraid to go back to normal eating because I don't want to every get where I was again.
I don't have any good advice for you, but I just wanted to say to be careful! Don't over do it. that could be detrimental to your health as well. Have you read the "Maintenance" forums? They seem to have a lot of questions similar to this. There may be some helpful advice there.0 -

As much as I love that picture of bunnies hugging, I looked it up and Urban Dictionary says:
bunnyhug
a hooded sweatshirt, with a pocket in front.
It does not have a zipper.
Known to Saskatchewanians
Take that Nate!
She pulled on her bunnyhug because she was cold0 -

You really can't go wrong with any sub from Firehouse. My favorite is the Club on a Sub on wheat bread. Sooooo good0 -
I have a big presentation to give tomorrow to my plant manager regarding recycling and sustainability. I put off actually prepping for it until about 4PM today... spent most of the day on these forums. Employee of the year right here...0

Yeah, I know them as hoodies (Washington state), but I did enjoy the Google results for bunnyhug0 -

If my treadmill wasn't in my living room, I probably wouldn't be as motivated as I am lately, I feel like its taunting me. Also, if it didn't have a port to connect to my phone, and a fan built into it, it probably wouldn't be as fun when I work out and would kill my motivation some.0

I've been sort of binging all day -___- net still under 1000, but I'm still feeling a bit guilty about it. I feel like I'm wasting food and eating more than I deserve.0

if you don't want people judging you because of your weight, you shouldn't judge other people because of theirs. And even if they're not as fat as you are, girls can have very low self-esteem and distorted self-perception, so when they complain about feeling fat it's just as valid as when you do, and they're probably feeling just as miserable.
My confession is that I'm really sick of the thin-shaming and hypocrisy in parts of the body-positivity moment. "Health At Any Size!!" and "BMI isn't an accurate indicator of health!!!" they proclaim over and over and OVER. Until you're naturally small or underweight. Then you can't possibly be healthy and you must be dying of starvation and you just need to eat more.0 -

If you don't think you "deserve" 1000 calories and don't eat at least that much per day you ought to adjust your eating. 1000 per day is too low for pretty much anyone. =/
