:D Marie, yes, I'm using the Magic Bullet blender....I use two rounded scoops of Isagenix chocolate shake powder, six ounces of water, an ounce of walnuts, two TBS of flax seeds, and ice cubes and blend it til it's smooth. The whole thing is about 600 calories but by the time I've made my breakfast, I've already walked dogs for 30-45 minutes and right after breakfast I go out for another two hours of dog walking.

Sunny.. I find that coming here first thing in the morning and throughout the day helps keep me focused. I am addicted to the site and this thread! <3 Maybe that will help you, too. We are here for you.
    I do the same thing!

I love seeing all the positives happening for everyone, it makes me happy to know everything's going well for you all. :)

I really need to get some good smoothie recipes! A friend got me a magic bullet for Christmas (which is amazing) but I'm not getting as much use from it as I like. I'm continuing to work towards a vegan diet but it's hard work!

I hope everyone has a great Wednesday! The weather has taken a turn for the sunny here so I'm looking forward to going for a run tonight!

    Good morning, losers! Happy Wednesday!

Barbie..the shake sounds filling and nutritional..and I bet your dogs are fit and healthy as well. I have a small dog, and his short legs can only handle one walk a day.

Sparkle..good to hear from you. Hope the weather will last for your run.

Clouds today but warm temps. Gym day for me then errands.

I hope everyone has a productive and mindful day!
    Stay strong!

Jordan, I have been wanting to try the Zumba class at Curves, but I'm so afraid because of my Achilles tendinitis - it has been feeling better, but for two years I have babied it and so feel hesitant to move in extreme ways. It's a catch-22, because I know it would help me overall.

    Belinda

One great thing about zumba is you can modify it to your needs. you dint need to jump around like everyone else is the are traveling while jumping just walk and cross your legs as you do it our something fun! Talk to the instructor abd see if she had any suggestions on which moves to avoid or modification suggestions! I believe you'll do great and I think you'll have fun!

I love coming Herr and seeing all the inspiration. Definitely keeps me going where in the past I have long quit by now.

Nancy great job with your numbers! Keep up the great work

Today is suppose to be stormy so buckling down for that. Super to get sine really high winds.

It's weigh in day for me and despite zumba the last two nights and fruit water (at least three liters a day) I have an overall week gain of a pound. I'm going it's just water weight and that it'll go away.I had cucumber water yesterday which is suppose to help with bloating. I do feel a lot better though and like I Ann a bit smoother and thinner than before the water. I also started applying lotion all over after showers to help prevent lose skin as I'm losing shrift abd my skin feels healthier all around. I'm going the gain is just water weight or maybe even a littLe muscle :) either way not going to let it get me down.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I've decided to eat most of my exercise calories today, something I've never done before. Tomorrow will be back to normal. I think I'm going to go a few days without weighing. The scale has become too common I think.
I don't like admitting it, but I think I'm feeling down because my in-laws didn't notice any difference. I know that sounds stupid, but it is what it is. It makes it feel like you still look just as bad as before. It's funny, the lady that works in our apt. office noticed I'd lost weight, but my in-laws didn't. I think if they did notice, they just didn't say anything because they assume I'll just gain it all back again. I lost weight once before a while back and they noticed, and then I gained it back over time. I'd just like to hibernate inside until I've lost all my weight so I don't have to worry about these things. :P
Looking forward to a better feeling day tomorrow!

    -Rachel

I had similar experience - at about 30-35 pound loss friends, my brothers and people I work with all commented on how good I was looking. My in-laws never said a word - in front of me anyway - but they are the type of people who like to talk behind everyone's back. My MIL did say something a couple of weeks ago and then on only kept asking me if I was sick. I told her I wasn't sick as had been working on it for 6 months.

i agree about this being such a positive pace to come first thing in the morning!!

    Nancy great loss!!

Kenea, do not worry about the gain! I've been up this week as well, I'm sure it is water weight as it is that time of the month!!

    have a great day everyone!!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I agree that this is a sunshine-y place to come each morning.

Connie, you always have a cheerful opener for us! I like your positive attitude. :)

I was surprised to see a 1.4 lb gain this morning. Actually I had expected a little loss...
But I won't let the scale get me down, and will keep on going. Probably like everybody else, it's water weight and will disappear soon.

    Onward to good health!

    Good Morning Everyone.
Beautiful day and supposed to be about 80 degrees today in MS.
For you who had a small gain- don't let it discourage you just keep doing what you know to do.
Hope you have a great day.

    Happy Hump Day!
It's a little warmer here today, just a chilly breeze in the air. I'm looking forward to my activities today! Yesterday I added a quick arm exercise at the gym, so looking forward to doing it again today(because I can feel it from yesterday!). I have lots of homework to accomplish today as well, I'm looking forward to finishing that and am excited to learn a few things in the process. I'm so happy to be in school. :)
I'm looking forward to getting to weigh myself on Friday, but enjoying not weighing every day in the meantime. Not weighing in allows me to have coffee when I get up, which I wasn't able to do before because I didn't want to affect the scale. I'm thinking I'll only weigh in once a week from now on(except for Easter).
So I was feeling quite pudgy in the stomach area yesterday, but when I wore my fat pants(the ones I bought last year when my other pants stopped fitting), I had to move to belt hole #5. I started this journey on hole #1. And when I looked to see how many holes I had left, I had none! Pretty soon I'll have to either stop using those pants all together, or find a smaller belt! Unfortunately I'm only able to use the 2 pairs of pants right now in the journey. I found myself being self-conscious because my pants were too big. Haha.

Let's no worry about the water weight, and focus on the physical differences!

Hope everyone has a productive day!

Congratulations, Nancy on the loss it must feel great.

Sunny - You are back with us so start now and I am sure you will get off those 2 lbs.

Sparkle - If you google I am sure you can find many smoothie recipes that are vegetarian.

Ray - Good luck on your journey, fat pants LOL. Just think healthy.

Connie - So happy you got a good report from your doctor. Hooray!
My next apt is next month and I want to be down for my visit too.

Well its a cloudy day and the temps are climbing a little but rain in the forecast today.

I just got back from taking my MIL to the doctor for compression stockings fitting.
So I am getting caught up at home and still have to work out.

    Enjoy your day.

Hi all. It is rainy here in southeast Alaska. Nothing out of the ordinary. It rains here a lot. I'm still paying for digging out my flower bed on Sunday. Yesterday with the weather change my knees hurt so bad that I only did half the swim workout so today I swam for two hours instead of just one today. And ray I'm in the same boat as you. I started this weight loss with only one pair of pants. I have now shrunk out of two pair of pants. I used to not need a belt with the biggest pair. Now I don't need to unbutton or unzip to get them off or on!!!! My husband has been home for two days and he keeps commenting on how good I'm looking. It feels so nice

    Happy Belated Birthday Ruthie.

SeeAhtter, How nice for your hubby to compliment and notice your loss. Alaska is
Such a beautiful place. My favorite cruise was to Alaska. Would like to do another one.

Shirley, Thanks and it did make me feel good. I am so far behind everyone but I am
doing something I can live with.

Thank you all for remembering my birthday. I am getting to do what I want to do today which includes not going to a restaurant for a meal...my hubby and I are going to see "The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel".....this morning in my line dance class we started learning a very difficult dance that left all of us with our heads spinning.

Barbiie hope the movie was good. I have no desire to see any movies. I don't watch any of the shows on TV But do like my fpootball. Tornado in Oklahoma as we speak. Hope it is not a bad one. I just told Jerry this may be a bad year for tornado.

Happy Birthday Barbie. You are such an inspiration! (*)

Today has been a great day. It started off kind of rocky, but sometimes all you need is some to listen to you talk and you finally hear the answer come out of your own mouth. :) Happy Losing very one in any area that is holding you back from being your best self.
