    Today I went to CrossFit.

    Strength Portion:
5 sets, increasing weight with each set
    1 strict press + 1 push press + 1 push jerk
I did 35# (everyone did the bar for the first round), 55#, 60#, 65#, and 70#

    Conditioning:
    5 rounds against a 3 minute clock
    350m row
    15 double-unders
    Shoulder-to-overhead at 65#

Rest 3 minutes between each round (3 minutes of work, 3 minutes of rest). Our score is the total amount of shoulder-to-overhead reps we complete before each round's time is up, adding all 5 rounds together for the total score.

    I did 14, 11, 14, 10, and 10 reps, so a total of 59 reps.

Biking in the hills. I way overdid it. I haven't been on a bike in years and I jumped on this mountain bike like a maniac and tried to conquer the mountain. I'm used to running miles and miles cross-country, so I thought I was pretty fit. Wrong! I used muscles that I didn't know existed. I ended up puking on the side of the trail (a thing I've never done before). I think I'll take it easier on the bike from now on until I build up some endurance.

Yesterday was a double shift, so I basically walked for 10 hours. Today, I'll be enjoying thirty minutes of kickboxing and thirty minutes of strength training. This is going to feel good!

Walked 4 miles to work then hit the gym at my office and did alternating sets of pushups, crunches, v-ups, bicycles and plank for 30 minutes (oof!) Going to be a long work day so great to get a workout in.

25 minutes of fasted cardio on the elliptical in the AM. I wanted to do 45, but couldn't swing it. It was one of those morning I did need to eat before I worked out, meaning I didn't eat enough carbs yesterday. In the evening I did a lower body workout with weights: squats w. press, bridge, one armed kettle bell swing, glute kickbacks, leg lifts for abductors and adductors, side lunges, calf raises. No problems with that workout, great energy level from start to finish.

Today was a rest day. I walked about two miles for errands today, and I plan to do 40 minutes of very low key yoga before bed.
