I had aspirations of doing some in depth, thoughtful, motivational blog post on my 1000th day of logging into mfp. Didn't happen.

Wow good job logging in! I'm jealous. :) I'm almost back at 90 days.

I've been around since about 2012 and I have to confess that one of the reasons I quit logging in a few years ago was because I missed a day on accident and lost a really good logging streak. I was so mad. I wish I wouldn't let little things like that get to me.

Wow! 1000 days of logging in. You're my hero. Really. I'm really geeky about that kind of thing. I'm on day 86 and already feel like I'd cry if i had to start at 1 again!

Not quite what others have been putting but thought i'd share. Last Easter I craved nothing but chocolate and ate most of the kids Eggs on the days leading up and had to pop to the shops last minute to grab some more. Opps!

Confession 1: I binged last night and ate a DQ salted caramel truffle blizzard after dinner.
Confession 2: I felt a cold coming on last night and it's in full swing now, but I'm secretly pleased as punch because now I won't eat much today and that should make up for the DQ last night. XD Unfortunately I have a job interview today...so I'll have to power through that, but otherwise YOO HOO! -_- Being happy about being sick makes me feel weird.

I must be the only person in the world who's always hungry when she's sick. Except when it's a stomach bug, obviously.

Nope, I was going to say the same thing as you.

I used to not be hungry when sick but the last few times I've been sick, I've been extra hungry. Weird...

Oh and I would also love to dye my hair crazy colors. Green would be awesome.

The best hair color I ever had was bright red streaks while I was in college. I can't dye my hair because of work as well. :(

I ate chocolate today. My entire calorie limit in chocolate. I guess it's a celebration for losing 15 pounds. I feel a little sick.

Tomorrow is my weigh-in day, and I binged yesterday and purged today. Hopefully the scale won't have gone up too much. (Trying to be honest about it to avoid psychological damage if nothing else.) I was getting so much better so quickly for a while that it's frustrating to make mistakes now, but I guess they're necessary if I learn from them.
I've gained so much weight that most of my clothes are tight on me, so I'm wearing the same dresses and skirts and slouchy cardigans all the time. v_v
As long as the general trend is progress, I guess it's okay.

I have *definitely* done that on multiple occasions.

In the past, I've eaten an entire jar of White Chocolate Wonderful peanut butter. It's my drug of choice. Literally.

My store was out (said some was supposed to be on the delivery truck scheduled to arrive the next day), I couldn't wait, so I drove to 3 other stores in town with no luck, then drove 45 minutes to the next store that carried it!

I've never heard of this stuff before now and certainly haven't seen it in any stores... but of course now I'm going to be on the hunt for it, probably my next trip to the US.

I see BZAH10 has put up a new shoulder/arm avatar to taunt inspire and motivate me. Lol. I'm glad she posts so often in this thread so I get to see my Dream Shoulder regularly. :)

Hahaha! Thanks for noticing! I only posted a new picture because I was really white and pale in my other picture. Been outside recently and have a bit of color, so I thought I'd update it.

I've been toying with the idea of posting my own shoulder pic just for laughs (which will be totally meaningless to anyone outside of this thread) but it would definitely out-pale your old one as we're on our fifth month of winter here... snowing outside as I type.

I get confused when people change their avatar lol. Someone had your llama pic in a Facebook group I'm in, and I was like "you can't use that picture! That's @ythannah! ".

In other news, we're supposed to get a bit of snow tomorrow too.

Lol! That's what I get for putting up a pic poached from the net.

And if I'm not mistaken, somebody recently changed her avatar from a masked purple-haired girl to a very pretty brunette...

Thanks... The picture is actually a year and a half old, but I haven't changed much lol

I do wish I actually had purple hair though

I'm thinking of dying my hair black again but add some purple streaks, but it might not be appropriate for a 36yo SAHM. Mostly I'm too cheap to pay for that I think.

Confession - I'm already dreading Easter. We were supposed to stay home but we got invited by my sister in law, and with PMS here I know it's going to be hard to stick to my deficit this week to save calories for it. And I'm peeved about it because I actually had a chance to reach my goal weight this month, after being 2-3 pounds away since last May. Plus it's my birthday in 10 days and we're going to a nice restaurant and that's just too many 'cheat' days in a short amount of time, so I'm stressing out about it.

I realize I stress out too much about food but I can't help it.

    What's "appropriate" for a 36yo SAHM?
I'll be 33 next month and am a SAHM... I've had my hair all different colors. And this week I plan on changing my brunette hair to "darkest blue". It's almost black... But it's not. Lol.
I've had my hair BRIGHT red before, and MAGENTA about a year ago.

I say go for an outrageous color. You only live once! Enjoy your time while you have it. :)

I LOVE your hair color. You are beyond gorgeous! I say, it is hair, it will always grow back if you hate it and cut it off!

Thank you! It was such a pain to keep up, so after a couple months I changed it to a dark burgandy. Then brown. My most recent was black... But it's all faded out. So I'm dying it dark blue (probably tomorrow). Never had that color. And it'll be all over color, not just chunks or pieces. Lol

Absolutely gorgeous picture! Hope you post one after you dye it blue! I'm dying to see that. I color mine myself, too. Just blonde and dark auburn. I'd be more adventurous but can't because of my job.

I'll definitely post a pic of the blue :)
My husband hates that I do it different colors, but it never lasts long (my hair always fades quickly).

And I am a SAHM... So my only critics are my family. Lol. And my kiddos love when I change it. They say I look like a "cool mom".
Kinda strange going to school functions though. Hahaha

Yeah, I pick up my kids every day, I just don't want everyone staring at me, lol.

I'm not (too) worried about the staring... I try and tell myself they are just jealous they aren't brave enough... Or they are in envy. Most people actually comment about how they would do it, if it wasn't for their job.

If I'm staring at someone with colourful hair, I'm envious. I wish I could have long, thick hair that I could dye on a whim.

Confession: when people complain about their hair being *too* thick, I want to simultaneously cry and hit them.

I complain about my hair being too thick. I actually thin it, otherwise it's completely unruly!

Yep, me too. I have a pixie cut and if I don't thin it to death, it's a mess. I also have to go in every two weeks to keep it up. Thankfully my stylist only charges me every other time. This is why I don't color anymore - I spend too much on cuts to justify color on top of it!

Latest confession: I cannot stand "TMI Tuesday" and I get stabby when I see people in my friend list littering my home page with it

    1) Love your username!

    2) I unfriend those people. Immediately. No mercy. ;)

    Related:

People that insist on using Facebook to constantly "praise their Lawd n Saivyuh" make me want to maliciously comment "Hail Satan" on their post.

Just stop. You have no idea how many people you are offending.

YES!! My sister-in-law... every alternate post is either praising her Lawd and Saivyuh or a racist rant. I can't. I couldn't unfriend her, but I unfollowed.

You could always unfriend her and when she figures it out, tell her it was a facebook glitch...like I did with my sister and MFP!

Love it! If the woman wasn't married to my brother, I would stay as far away from her as humanly possible. So hateful. Maybe I'll try that. I'm also friends with her on MFP, but she doesn't seem to be able to remember to log on here - too busy ranting and raving on FB day and night.

Confession: As per the original poster who said her bra was held together with duct tape and faith I have just 'bust' 2 bras (did you see what I did there?) and now only have two ancient ones left that don't quite fit right (4 boobage :( ) but I'm not buying anymore till I've lost the weight... no t-shirts without jumpers for me.

My confession: I am a huge procrastinator. This semester is (hopefully) my last one, but it's the hardest one yet. I've been suffering from anxiety, which also makes me an escapist. Now I have an essay due at midnight that I have hardly started on. Good thing it's only 1200 words. TIME TO MAKE MYSELF DO IT.

I'm a huge procrastinator. One day I procrastinated by reading this http://waitbutwhy.com/2013/10/why-procrastinators-procrastinate.html

    It was pretty eye-opening!

I love, love, love, love loved this! Read all 3 (surprisingly not while procrastinating as currently have a load of leave to use up, so not at work) really identified with it.

I thought this was brilliant and posted it on my facebook page. I am the WORLDS WORST PROCRASTINATOR I now have a name for it with the Instant Gratification Monkey! And the Panic Monster is truly what gets me going. I also thought the matrix discussion was really helpful, as I spend a lot of time in Quandrant 3...not important but definitely urgent. I am going to read these a few more times... To ingest them!

Glad they helped! I read them once thinking they were a joke thing, and they actually ended up really changing the way I looked at things.

For the past few years I seem to have been developing allergies. This year, a spring cold plus allergies knocked me on my butt. I finally caved and got some daytime allergy medicine, daytime 24 hour Allegra. Not only am I less sneezy congested itchy but I also noticed a very interesting side effect. I have a normal appetite. It has literally killed my wanting to eat 24/7 as much as possible, never feel full no matter what cravings. I could care less about sugar! I feel normal :) I get hungry like normal, can eat a normal meal and be completely satisfied, no wanting to binge out or overeat or anything! I have had to purposefully leave room for "desert" (I like a Qwest bar some days) otherwise I am too full!

THIS IS AMAZING. No more lethargic over eating to make me sleepy all day! I have lost 5 pounds.

I think I like taking Allegra LOL!!

I have terrible horrible allergies that start like clockwork (calendar work?) on February 1st every year. I have always taken Claritin D and this year I have noticed having this exact same thing happening. It's a great side effect. I also use it the majority of the year since my allergies go from February through October usually, so I hope the normal appetite lasts until then! I never thought I'd be happy to have such bad allergies.

    Edited for spelling.

Why is this way back here on page2?!?

Confession : I had high hopes for today. I was going to paint my downstairs bathroom and clean the grout and wash my dining room chair covers. Instead, I have laid on the couch and slept and watched Scooby-Doo.

I don't have even think I'll get my 10k steps in today. I have either bad allergies or a cold that is ruining my life. I've completely lost my voice. :(
