I lost 45 pounds originally but then put 35 back on when I started graduate school
March 29th, 2015 I started tracking again and, unlike last time, I don't feel guilty when I go into the red on my calories (e.g. I don't stop tracking when I go over because I feel bad)...it's helped me stay on track to be completely honest about my eating habits.
Today I hit my 30 day streak and I'm down 10 pounds; 193 on the left, 183 on the right. (sorry 4 tha side boob heh)
Love ur tat!! what does it say?? x
BTW u look great2 -

I'm around 5'6.5, and was always slim until I went to uni- far too much eating and drinking! I hit 150lbs at my heaviest then started trying to lose weight and got really into long distance running, and dropped to 120. I started weight training last year and now weigh 125lbs
Same here, started drinking and eating out a LOT when I started going to uni..
On my way back down now though. Currently at 127 lbs, looking to lose a few more!1 -
Very motivating. You all have done, and are doing so well!
Thanks for sharing.0 -
5ft 7 I used to be heavier but don't have any pics here's my latest endeavor to become streamlined.
Not bad 145lbs
Busting *kitten* 133lbs currently

This thread is amazing, I was feeling a bit demotivated, thinking is it all worth it? when I came across it and boy has it inspired me. Everybody looks so great, healthier and happier. It is sooo worth the effort!
Thanks NewLIFEstyle4ME and NextPage - it's just starting to sink in, I'd kind of forgotten how awful, old and knackered I looked until I was searching though the few pictures I had of me at my largest. What is a shock to me is how much older I look in the before picture even though I'm nine years older in the after pic... You don't really want your picture taken when you're that big but it's important to keep a record for when you finally get to grips with it all - I've put the picture on my phone now to try to help keep me motivated.7 -

How long did it take you to get to your current weight?
It took me about a year. As I did not watch what I ate at all. So the progress was really slow. I'm a lot stricter with my diet now and have managed to lose an additional 12 lbs in the last two months. So my current weight is 155/156 lbs. I should post new pictures, as those 12 lbs made a big difference.

Bumping to keep this! I'm starting at 172 looking to get down to 145 to 150ish!!!0

Wow. Fantastic work, ladies! I lost about twenty pounds last year on MFP and then got off of tracking (too overconfident I suppose) and all the weight has come back on. I'm back on track now as of this week and always find the before and afters so inspiring. Really looking forward to adding mine. I always notice how much YOUNGER people look after the weight is off too!1

Loooove this thread!!!!!! I'm down 14 pounds but not ready to post before/after just yet... Looking forward to 145-150 lbs. You can count on my pics once I get there!1

This is great! I'm 5'6 and have been so far away from goal, that I have no idea what goal even looks like. Now, I'm so inspired from all of you that I may change my goal!2

I feel a little bad posting this because I've gained some back: currently at 155 and dropping. I'll forgive myself though, my Mom died a two days after my after pic was taken and I tried to eat the sadness away (it didn't work) all winter.
So now that I am back to eating normal portions of food my new goal is 140ish and some toning.14 -
You look great. I'm sorry about your mom.1

Well done Dashaclaire, I'm so sorry about your Mum, to get through such a devastating event in your life and get back on track is really hard to do so be proud of yourself, you know you will get back to where you want to be. Good luck. X3
