YES to all of this.

Yup! I become the human form of an anaconda after a meal. Just give me a bed to lay down in so I can digest this food.

OR you could skip having to say the dreaded "P word" and just order a buster bar.

That peanut BUSTER looks great. Which reminds me I tried the Talenti chocolate PB a few weeks back and it was pretty darn good. Chocolate Brownie was VERY good. I'm still trying to scrub that brand from my memory and temptations...

Ugh, I'm quoted way back in the peanut buster thread and so I keep getting notifications that you guys are STILL TALKING ABOUT PEANUTS AND I CAN'T HAVE ANY AND IT'S MAKING ME SAD. Hahaha.

I have never liked bacon. DD had a maple bacon donut on the menu today. I think that is weird. I don't get the bacon fascination.

The aroma, the flavor, the fact you can add it to any edible thing imaginable and it becomes even better than without. I looove me some bacon. <3

With that being said, I haven't had any in a few months. :heartbreak:

I used to really like Halloween. I do like seeing the kids out trick or treating. But now I avoid being home...I always forget to get candy, or if I do I have SO MUCH and I end up giving it away at work so I don't have to eat it. I have friends and sisters who go all out even as adults. But I definitely want to see your pictures! I would think making a french fry would be kind of easy? Not sure though...

I enjoy Halloween for the festive part of dressing up and all of the spooky stuffs that goes along with it but I haaate that my daughter always rakes in a boatload of candy. When she goes to her moms I make her take the candy with her cuz I know her mom and grandma will do some serious damage to the supply. If it stays at my house it will torment me until I give in.

Yep, I know this feeling as well. Every time it happens I always think, this is awful and I will never do this again. And yet, it always happens again...

Yes! It reminds me of being young and stupid drinking too much, getting hung over and swearing to never drink again. But then what do you know, the next weekend...there you are again drinking.

I rarely get the 'im getting full' signals when i eat, except as @Susieq_1994 describes, after eating everything, then my stomach is groaning in pain. But i don't have the normal brain signals that tell me i've had enough :(

^This is me exactly.

More than once I have been commended for my lack of snoring. I guess my past girlfriends had been with some real log sawing fellas. I'm a very light snorer at best. Even my 10 year old snores louder than me.

Do you hear that ladies? Non-snorer here...:lol:

Haha! Be sure to mention this when meeting someone you're interested in...such a good thing!
Edited because seriously, my keyboard hates me.

Morning all. I read everything yesterday but didn't haveuch time to comment, sorry.

Glad you're feeling chirpy @orangesmartie

Glad your relationship is great @KylerJaye

Sorry you can't exercise @pofoster21

I hope everyone has a super great day! I'll be reading, probably not saying much, busy at work.

This goes for me as well. Trying to read everything but work is just way to busy to respond. Miss you all though!!

This is my sister. I, on the other hand, am a VERY restless sleeper. I toss and turn like crazy, and the lightest sound can usually wake me up. It stinks, since I'd love to have uninterrupted sleep. :p

I know the feeling :'(

Confession: Yesterday I went to the gym and swam for 30 minutes, and also walked, and was at a nice calorie deficit under my goal. I came home and binge-ate a giant cookie, handfuls of special K cereal straight from the box, a couple slices of lunchmeat, and a homemade peanut butter nut bar. And probably other food I've forgotten about. Oops! There went that day :)

This is why I am glad I work. If I stayed home, I would probably work out, then proceed to snack away at any deficit I managed. I wouldn't even know how to log it. Plus I would probably leave a few things out and think later, Oh yeah, I ate that too.... :/

So, I getting really excited about Halloween. I know it's still months away, but I just love that time of year so much...the weather, the fun decorations, the candy, picking out our son's costume and trick or treating with him! He woke up this morning telling me he wants to be a French fry this year. He was a piece of pizza last year!! :) His first Halloween, he was Superman. Second one, he was a dinosaur, and then last year was the pizza. I'll post pictures in the batcave later. I get ridiculously excited about picking out his costume and I will be pumped if I can find a French fry for him!

You could make this from cardboard. Paint it the right color and get him a red hat to be ketchup. :-)

Cool! I used to be a raver and did all the decked out gear at one time. I've been an EDM DJ for over 5 years. I remember when Pretty Lights was just an up-and-coming midliner. Now he headlines all of his shows. Do you by chance like Bassnectar? He is always doing shows at RR.

Yes, I actually like Bassnectar as well but I've never been to their concert yet (I'm determined though!-I need to just go, I need more money haha). This will be my 3rd year going to the Pretty Lights Red Rocks concerts so I'm really excited. I look forward to it every year. Tickets sell out so fast though.

That is awesome that you are an EDM DJ. We would get along pretty well. That's my favorite type of music. I'm kind of jealous, I always thought being a DJ would be pretty fun!

Yerp. Some days it's like an abyss... a black hole sucking it all in while simultaneously remaining unsatisfied and craving moooore. >_<

It really is so weird and kind of scary how most days, I can just eat like a normal person...normal sized meals/foods. Then, it's like something takes over my body with no satisfaction or feeling full until I eat so much that I'm ready to pop!!

Whatever she called it, he promptly forgot. I don't think she said TMJ, though, he'd probably have remembered an acronym. But when he thought about it more, he does think the ear trouble began when he started the process of getting a dental implant.

Over the years I've heard of a lot of "ear problems" that turn out to be jaw problems.

Temporal Mandibular Joint disorder.

So, I guess since I wasn't included in this list I don't get to be a bridesmaid? Sigh. Oh well, being a guest is better anyway, I can wear whatever I want and don't have any chores!

you're not getting out of it that easily! B)
Too late. Orangesmartie and I will be belly'ing up to the bar (with our FLAT bellies) and drinking the night away. :)

ETA: I can't figure out how to just post PART of a quote and have it stay in the grey box. Oh well.
Me too! For the drinking. ;)
OKAY the Non Bridesmaid MFP's will OWN the bar!

That is terrible! Why would anyone do that to a child?

I will never forget when my son was about 4 months old he caught a stomach bug and became dehydrated from being sick to his tummy. Took him to the hospital and it took them 13 tries to get an IV in him. I was crying so hard I thought my heart was going to break and I was ready to punch someone right in the face.

Another sign of old age is that non-snoring has become a very attractive quality in a partner. :D

Yes, I've been with some really loud fellas in my time. Actually, I can only think of one who was a quiet sleeper. Which sucks because I'm a chronic insomniac.

One of my exes also had restless leg syndrome so I got kicked in addition to the racket.

Both your stories remind me of my boyfriend (we are getting along better at the moment just as a quick FYI). But he has restless leg and I am either woken up by the movement or getting kicked.

I feel so bad for anyone that has that.

He also snores really loud so I was able to hear him sleeping in the tent while walking around the campgrounds. It made me laugh. Wonder what the animals thought of that during the night. :)

Confession:
My food intolerances are often a pain, hassle, limiting. I had had plenty of bland or less than satisfying meals over the years. However I'm used to that and I confess that I'm glad I have them because:
Brownies, cake, ice cream, bread, and so many other things hold zero appeal to me. I will not eat them. It makes it easier for me (I think) to have consistently made good choices over the years because the other option is complete misery for days/weeks if I have something I know I should not have.

ETA: That is why I don't comment on much of the food on here, most of it is not something I can consider eating. My brain no longer really sees it as food.

Rest assured when I make any of the above it's a GF version. Nothing is worth triggering a celiac reaction.

My ex had RLS and it was the worst. Getting kicked around like a soccer ball all night. >_<

I sleep like the dead. No noise. No movement. And not much bothers me. :) I can sleep through alarms and loud noises and terrible storms.

You just described my husband.
One night, we turned on our house security alarm and didn't realize that one of the cats was down in the basement. So hours later, the alarm goes off because the cat set off the motion detector. I wake up immediately (it's super loud) and my husband isn't in bed...he had fallen asleep on the couch downstairs watching tv. So I run down to find him snoring away. Meanwhile..the alarm is blaring, the house phone is ringing because the alarm company was calling to check if it was an emergency, and I'm standing over him yelling for him to get up. It took a good 2-3 minutes of all of this commotion to finally wake him!! He had no clue what was going on. I guess we all know who would have to save the day if there ever was an emergency...
