    1. Remember how much better I feel when I eat healthy. :)
    2. Walk or ellipitical minimun of 30 minutes :/ Our yard was nominated for an award for the beautification committee for our city - we were one of 4 winners! But, because of this meeting, didn't get my walking in.
    3. Keep telling myself I CAN DO THIS!! Next year, for my 65th birthday, I can be at goal weight, and feel so much better!

    JFT - 10/8

    1. watch sugar grams - no sugar
    2. watch carb grams - keep at a minimum 30-50 gms
    3. drink 8 glasses of water. 1 down, 7 more to go

“If you want to accomplish anything in life, you can’t just sit back and hope it will happen. You’ve got to make it happen.” ~Chuck Norris

I need to remember this ALL DAY -- I have to make my weight loss happen. Darn, I guess it just doesn't happen by itself.

GREAT JOB!! Each day counts, and adds up. Isn't is amazing how good we feel when we take care of ourselves. Here's hoping for day 8 for you.

I am working on Day 1 again, but I get so encouraged by all of you!

    Just for Today/ THURSDAY

    1. GET some WATER in...been doing horrible with this.
    2. Go to my granddaughter's volleyball game tonight and just enjoy it
    3. I will NOT feel guilty for the "bad" week I've had or for tonight.

I have had at least one grandchild's football/volleyball game to go to every night after work, sometimes more than one game in a night, and I have been enjoying it and they've been so happy to see us there cheering them on. It has led to unhealthy food choices all week and I'm paying for it, but darn it...I missed 8 years of this when we lived out of town and I won't let my Grands down anymore! I will shop healthier this weekend, pre-pack my work lunches and do better next week. This week I am dedicating to my grandkids' homecoming week games!

    Have a great Thursday!

    JFT Thursday
1.) Prelog again. It is working. Woot.
2.) Make a shopping list for tomorrow. Preplan every meal for the next two weeks.
3.) Go to gym to swim.

Done, Done, and Done! Monkey in the Middle in the pool is no joke. I am sore. LOL

    JFT Friday
1.) Prelog food and stick to it
    2.) Swim with kids again
3.) Go to grocery store and stock up the fridge again. Woot. My local grocer is having "Fill a sack" day in the produce aisle for $15. I'm going to see if it is worth it, or cheaper to buy separately. Not sure what the choices will be yet.

    1. I'm going to keep up with drinking 8 glasses of water.
    2. I have to start going to bed earlier during the work week. For next week, I have to set 10:30pm as a bed time, but it really should be earlier

    For today

I will stay under my calorie goal 5 day streak.
I will make good choices and not over do at any single meal.
I will express my wellness mantra.
I will be more patient on the road.
I will work out for 50 minutes.
I am expressing gratitude for the beautiful sunrise over the mountains this morning.

    Mark[/quote]

Can't believe I missed yesterday. Got busy and simply overlooked.

Was over my calorie goal, broke a 6 day streak.
    One bad meal out.
    Didn't express my wellness mantra.
Continuing to make progress on being more patient on the road.
    Didn't work out.

    For today:

Will stay under my calorie goal. Need to reduce/break from chocolate.
I will express my wellness mantra
I will work out for 90 minutes
I will continue to be more patient on the road
I am expressing gratitude for solid working relationships with my brother and sister in law.

Ate breakfast in peace & quiet.
I will preplan as many meals & snacks as possible for the weekend.
Take meats out of freezer for weekend.
    In bed by 10pm.
I will do my 45 min walk today & try to make it to the gym.
Subbing in Sunday school so need to prepare. Love art!!
I know there will be stress this weekend due to plans but I need to stay positive. In the past I would've used this as an excuse to reward myself with chocolate or something sweet. Not anymore!!
