Thanks guys. This is my favourite thread because I actually weighed in +2kg in water weight this morning and I truly felt crappy.
Writing this made me focus for the day ahead and feel like I'm not a failure.0 -
NSV today: 2 day straight of being active and I logged it.
Every little step I take to be healthier seems to be boosting my self confidence. Got some excellent feedback for my resume and job search. Hopefully after Christmas, I'll get something stable.

Got bloodwork results back today and my numbers are FANTASTIC! That made my freakin' month! Even though I see it in my clothes and in the mirror and others see it as well, there is something so gratifying about it showing up in test results. I am one happy camper!1. I won a small t-shirt and it fits
2. I survived almost 10 miles of hill repeats cycling on a hill that I couldn't make it up last year!Went to store to waste time after doctor appointment and shorts that didn't fit two weeks ago now fit easily!

- kind of scale related... This is the least I've weighed since November 2012!!!
- someone noticed that I've lost today! I replied with "just a little bit!" (22 with 80 to go) and she said "not little, you more skinny!" (English is her third language )
- I went to a friend's wedding last week... In a form fitting dress and it looked good! My confidence is sky high! Even better... In my " what to wear" panic three weeks ago I bought three dresses.. Two of which I was more comfortable in than the one I ultimately wore... But they were at least two sizes too big by the night before the wedding!! The smile on my face when I returned them and had to tell the sales lady they were " much too big "...

Whats nsv??Recently, I tried on size 9 jeans. They were snug but buttoned. Size 11s are much comfier. Fantastic. I joined a running club at my gym in the spring - best thing I did. There are now only 4 of us but we run twice a week and they push me. I recently did a 10k in 59 minutes which I didn't think possible. Great bunch of guys. I am the slowest but they are really encouraging and never let me feel I am holding them up.
10K in 59 minutes? I can't even imagine doing that! Maybe one day. But you're right about them pushing you. They weren't pushing me today but they did give me a lot of encouragement and congratulated me on my time. Thank you!!my jeans are all too big now that it need belt and it still need me to adjust it time to time to make sure it wont fall down.. i no longer have back fat and i can finally see my collar bone.. lol.. and yep, i have that one skirt that cant even get above my thigh for me to wear, and now it can and it actually a tad too big now..
the downside is that, i have to spend money to renew the wardrobe time to time but the best side is that its so so much easier now to buy cute clothes you like, when you can fit the usually 'free size' one that you normally stay away from and get frustrated of..
Just completed my first ever Spartan race!I have two pairs of pants from before I gained this weight and I tried them on yesterday and they fit! I'm not at goal yet but I'm at least back where I was.

Needed new underwear and saw that AE was having a Black Friday sale on their Aerie underwear. I haven't been able to fit into AE clothes for 10+ years. Bought their largest size, thinking "I'll be lucky if they fit". They came in the mail and they're huge!! I could have ordered two sizes smaller. Guess my mind hasn't caught up with my body :-P0

I just had my lipid panel done. When I started in August cholesterol was 269 as of yesterday it was 187!!!
Done with diet and exercise only no medications!4 -

That's wonderful - to me, the health NSVs are among the very best. For most (including you & me ) diet & exercise is the very best way to get those lipids where they should be - and there are so many *wonderful* side effects from diet & exercise, too, unlike those from the drugs!

I bought a size 11 juniors pair of jeans that fit great with extra room in the waist also tried on a pair of size 10 jeans in the misses section that were actually to big in the waist area unfortunately they were clearance so couldn't find an 8 to see if they would have actually fit instead, maybe next time.0

I just had to throw out 4 pairs of jeans because they fall down. The new jeans I bought 4 weeks ago are also getting big. Hubby said "you're losing lbs and I'm losing £s to keep you clothed!"1

On Thanksgiving, my SIL invited my to go to a charity workout event at her gym. It was 75 minutes of zumba-type aerobics. I was able to complete the whole thing (although there were some modifications I made to a few of the things). It felt good to keep with it1 -

Yesterday I celebrated making an official us standard 14 size (from a 20/22 last year at this time) by buying 2 pair of new jeans. This involved the horror of putting on skinny jeans and realizing they were definitely NOT for me and my muscular calves.
I was telling this story to a fellow singer in my choir and she says "but you're a skinny young thing, you can get away with wearing those jeans!"
Totally made my day. Even if I still have 30 lbs to lose to my goal, it totally made my day.0 -

Finally discovering the power in me to stay away from cigerettes, soda, and Junk! I was so addicted to all of those and now I could care less for them. I have the strength in me to continue this when I visit back home even! I'm not on a diet I'm changing for good, I'm not focusing on my appearance changes at the moment because I don't absolutely see anything yet. But my face is clearer and brighter from the water and staying away from soda, it's not a chore to wake up to work out anymore, Instead of smoking when I am bored I just do something like clean an area in the house, go for a walk, sip some water. I'm feeling great! Most of all deciding to lift weights as intimidating as it was at first (because I'm a rookie) has been the best decision yet. I see results every workout. I did more squats today, I added more weight that day, it's great. I'll like how I look in a few months or so but right now I LOVE HOW I FEEL!!2

I've stuck with my food plan 100%, zero cheating or swapping out foods, and drinking 12 oz+ of water every day for the last 4 days. I've never actually done that before. I'd always sneak in a treat and account for it calorie-wise. 4 days of NO EXCUSES. In the past, I'd have definitely eaten out breakfast this morning in the situation I was in. But I didn't.0

I thought there was something wrong with my foot. Nope, just a tendon showing... I hope to loose at least another 1/2 sz before I'm done. I like having little feet... (for my height)0
