One morning I had my fitbit on the charger downstairs, and went upstairs without it. That evening, I asked my wife to walk up the stairs with my fitbit so I could get the credit back. She did it, but the look she gave me said a) "you are a lunatic" and b) "just this once".7

I read this post yesterday, realized that I'd not yet had to charge my FB, switched over to email, and saw I'd just received a message saying it needed to be charged. So I put it on the charger and took a nap.0 -
When you sometimes select your meal because it's something you ate recently or eat frequently and therefore it's in "Recent' or "Frequent" foods and is easy to enter.2

When you are about to go to bed, but you notice one of your Fitbit friends has just passed you, so you pace about the house until you are tops of the leader board again.

When you drop a piece of cheese in the dirt and you contemplate eating it because you already added it to your diary and cheese calories are precious!2

(I spend every other week at my boyfriends house) packing my own scale when I go stay at boy friends house and set it next to his. An ounce more or less means the world to me.1

When you ask your surgeon if you can wear your fitbit during surgery so you can log the sleep. And yes, I did ask but (honest) I was only kidding!2

LOL!!! My roommate gave me the funniest look the other day. He doesn't make a habit of watching me cook but he was very curious of why I needed so many pictures to cook dinner1 -

I did a test on this. If you are doing an activity that does not permit your arm to swing, if you put the fitbit in your pocket it will count your steps correctly - for walking at least.0 -
This is hilarious! !!0

When you decide to walk an extra 8,000 steps to make up for the food you weren't supposed to eat.0

Or you look at something tasty, and debate with yourself whether it's worth x,000 additional steps so that you can stay within your target.0 -
When the cashew nuts almost spill from the pouch and onto the ground and you CHASE it down and catch it for dear life because this is your snack for the entire rest of the day!1

When there are "only" four restaurants you allow yourself to eat out at and you know the exact meal you can have and how many calories it contains. Then you log it as a meal......because you have it in your data bank as a meal

When you think the most romantic thing in the world is when your husband cooks you dinner while you're not feeling good then brings you a sticky note with everything weighed out in grams so I don't have to get up to weigh your own food. True love right there! lol
Ahhh it's so nice to hear I'm not alone with all my ridiculous that I do to maintain a deficit lol My family & friends think I'm weird. Except my husband... he gets me6 -
When you won't try someone else's food because you're too lazy to figure out how to track it.
And when you take a shower and then try... just for a second... to track it somewhere.0 -
When you're craving something and look up calories from that dish at restaurants and decide to make it at home instead to save half the calories.
Or when you look up restaurant menus and everything is high calorie and you can't even pick anything that you want enough for it to be worth the calories and end up eating at home instead.
Story of my life nowadays. I miss eating out and just ordering whatever I feel like without worrying about calories.1 -

@Francl27 how about dividing a restaurant's portion, into more than just their 1 meal & consume the additional portions, as separate meals; until it's gone. So if a restaurant meal, is equivalent to my daily calorie allotment; it gets divided into 6 meals.2 -

When you have a rare cup of coffee with Bailey's Irish Cream, and, after logging it, seriously consider (almost) whether you should switch to it rather than your regular Bailey's Coffee Creamer because, even though it is 9 calories more, the macros are much, much, er, healthier.

When you walk around the house with your laptop in the hands to make sure your Fitbit (that is on charge) continue to track your steps.2
