girlinahat...you know what Hail is If I understand that correctly. An ICE STORM is when it rains and freezes on the trees, on the grass, on the roads, on everything it hits. Depending on how much one gets it could be bad. One year our Electricity was out for THREE DAYS! Our world stood still! They do salt the main roads but we live on 2 miles of roads that are not kept up by the county or the state so what you get is what you get... This Ice storm was over fairly quickly as the temps warmed up a bit and it melted....
Today between the rain we did get in 2.5 Walking miles...

I was right - an ice storm does sound horrendous. Although from my quick image search it can leave things looking quite pretty!
I took yesterday off from exercising which was blissful, but back to class this evening!0 -
Hello DW here, I am new to this challenge but I thought it sounded interesting.
My plan is to workout NLT three days a week, I am at four days a week worse case and in most cases six days a week. I typically spend around 2.5 hours at the gym, my workout includes an elliptical HIIT routine of 18 minutes with a 3-minute cool down, I target 2.5 miles for the total 21 minutes. I alternate upper body and lower body every other day with a medicine ball AB routine at the end and then 10-12 minutes on the row machine or 2500 meters whichever comes takes longer. I then finish my W/O with a 15 minute sauna session that to me helps relax the hurt I just put on myself.
My Weight goal is to lose one pound a week until I don’t have a pound to lose.

80 mins walking in lovely Dovedale Monday, and 60 today running chores for the Aged Ps. 460 mins total. 1500 mins goal.
Well off my ambition, but the body has not been obliging (I have health issues that can get in the way..) and not has family commitments (those Aged Ps in particular!). But I will still be doing my best to get as near as I can... And still better than without this challenge!0 -

Off today for a weekend away. To Evansville to visit youngest daughter. Tonight is my wifes valentine present celebration.... Tickets to Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, and Dirks Bentley. Taking my bike and Friday is biking day. Yeah and they say 22 mph winds gusts to 40 go figure. Saturday its bike ride in the morning and then visiting 3 winerys and 2 breweries.

yessssssssssss the 'ice storms' are gorgeous and especially if the sun comes out... In our case NO SUN so it was not as pretty...I'm glad it's all GONE!
Yesterday (Feb 17th) was a slower walk but several long walks.....4.0 Walking Miles...

Agree about the Tarmac in Dovedale Girlina, but luckily we crossed over to the other side - and then went on up past the Apostles viewpoint. Must be heaving in the summer...
As I was going down my local hill today a young chap passed me on his way up complaining about the climb - to be fair it IS steep... pleased to report that I didn't even notice the climb on my way back home ! Just gossiped on to my friend... So fitter than a 20 year old ??!

I think I was there Easter weekend - you can imagine!!!! Great for families as it is buggy friendly, but my walking buddy and I like to drift off paths and explore interesting looking crags, flowers, critters etc. - not much scope for that. Plenty of other great locations in the Peaks though!!!

lol girlinahat. It seems SOME kids today dont want too do anything but play video games, watch movies, etc. My husbands niece moved here. She has two kids. We finally got them walking with us...lol They are ages 8 and 11.
Yesterday we were away all day BUT we did get in some hiking in the mountains....3.0 Walking Miles...
TODAY was a glorious day...GLORIOUS, SUNNY, WARM DAY of which I got in a whopping 5.0 Walking Miles... NO SPRING has not sprung for very long they tell us...
