AUGUST 2016 Walk/run/jog/bike challenge

I have too leave this today as something has come up and I will not be back on August 1st.

All my 'oldies' please join me here. Hope too see some new people as well that wish too 'MOVE'

The challenge is too do whatever exercise you wish. Be FAITHFUL too the task and log as many miles/steps or whatever you do.

My August goal will still be walking and the goal (for me) too reach is 120 Walking Miles...

    I have started a half marathon challenge at my work. Out first race is Oct 20th. I need to do 50 miles of running this month with 95 walking miles

    I'm an oldie nowadays I guess - so yes I'm in again, tracking modestly active days (30 mins minimum) and much more active ones (atleast a 350 cal burn but often more) - and aiming for even more active days than before... This thread really helps! So do join us!

    I'm back after having hip replacement surgery 3 months ago. My goal will be to ride my stationary recumbent bike 100 miles in the month of August.

    I'm new here but would like in. I try to walk or cycle everyday but some days I really need a kick in the butt.

    My August goal is 30 minutes minimum fast paced walking or cycling everyday.

    To join this challenge just indicate how far you want to walk/run/bike/swim for the month
    and then post your results each day. . .

    I haven't had time to join in a move challenge for a while, but am going to jump back in this month (still not much time, but can't sit around waiting until I have more).

    I'm going to target 50 miles run/jog and 100 miles cycling. Somewhat aggressive, but should be doable.

    1 August - lots of cycling (c 35km along the loire..last day of hols)

    350 cals burned or more: 1 out of 1
    (42 cumulative total towards 100 target, aiming to do this at least every other day)

    Atleast over 30 mins: 0
    Lazy/rest days : 0

    Welcome all the new faces - great to see you and good luck. (My good excercise day today probably only made a slight dent into my French cooking over indulgence! But hopefully back on the straight and narrow soon...)

    Didn't quite reach my 4 miles, left the house too late so it got dark on me. But, I did the 30 days shred plus the crunches and squats challenge (100 each)
