The one I like and that I have done several times and is more geared to beginners or more mature citizens like me (69 years old) is: week one and two chair squats to establish technique. day 1 20, day 2 30, day three rest, day 4 20, day 5 30, day 6 40, day 7 rest. Week two repeat except do prisoner squats (hands behind head), weeks 3 and 4 repeat weeks 1 and 2 without the chair. Remember when doing squats beyond 90 degrees doesn't do anything more for your toning. Also fun is the 30 day plank challenge. Good luck! If you want more tips, I can be reached at bassai@cox.net.
