Just seeing that we started up again. Late to the party. I'm sharing the following as it may help someone else in some way or another. I had been at a plateau so I joined a group of friends for the 21 Day Detox diet started on 8/8 and ended on 8/28. I lost almost 8lbs. Not sure I'd recommend this though it was rough. I was more accountable and tightened up my logging during the 21 day challenge and because I wasn't snacking or snacking on much different foods, my calorie intake was too low for my workouts and therefore I lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time. I say a lot because I'm a lot closer to my goal now and 8lbs in 3 weeks seems like a lot for someone as far along in their journey as I am. Now I am struggling to find the right balance. Having shared that I want to say take your time don't do anything you can't keep up/maintain for the rest of your life. Don't put your body through the extra stress it is not worth it.

I'm hoping I can jump in. Luckily my Fitbit scale has my weight saved and after writing this, I'm feeling encouraged!

last week I did great. I thought I was going to be posting a more significant loss, but, the weekend of family visiting, birthday parties and eating out - did me in -BUT I am victorious with a small loss. still moving in the right direction. I will crush it this week. I did reach another mini milestone- 30 pounds down from when I first started in March. yay me!

I was on a overseas trip to the states. I fasted for about 28 hours before starting my trip. It wasn't that hard and seemed really help. I'm just back today and I didn't put the same effort into comming home and I feel too tried.
In the US I didn't really try to diet. It just took too much effort to even eat sort of healthy and wow it is sure expensive eating out in the US! Losing 400 grams is good enough for two weeks.

Congrats to everyone who posted a loss. Yay! To those who have stayed the same/ gained - Do not give up. Its a daily struggle for me too and every moment is an opportunity to succeed. Don't get caught up in the negative mind set. You can do it. Everyone slips up- it's ok. Just accept it and start over with the next thing you choose to eat. You are amazing. You are strong. Looking at my progress this challenge the saying comes to mind "don't be upset by the results you didn't get, by the work you didn't do". I've been eating out, drinking on the weekends and snacking on high calorie foods and am seeing the result of that. Would really like to get my head back in the game so I can kick this last 10lb.
I've upped my strength work this week (and my biscuit/chocolate intake) and it's TTOM so the gain was expected.
