That somehow you'll forget how it was before you lost weight.
It's great to remember how far you've come I think, if you don't want to go back there but nobody tells you that after a while you'll forget "before".
It's been a year since I was 35 lbs heavier and I've already almost forgotten that I couldn't do jumping jacks before, couldn't climb the two flights of stairs to my flat without panting, my fastest walking pace (even adding running segments) was "mod pace", couldn't say no to food or eat in moderation, couldn't not snack after diner and a whole bunch of other things.27 -
that after awhile you would stop caring how you look while running outdoors.31

That when people keep telling you that you are too skinny is starts to piss you off. NO it is just america has a very screwed up view of "healthy"36

That it doesn't take away any of the negative emotions from personal things that are happening (example bad relationship, death in the family, or work issues) but it does give you an outlet to let go of things and become happier with yourself.23

That someone would ever tell me I eat so healthy every day at work. This comes from people I don't know very well as it is a new job. If only they knew!!!19

People, in general, treat you better.
I find it depressing, but it's true.28 -
I got my blood drawn today and the band didn't pinch my arm today. Was so cool.13

That my not very well behaved dog can drag me much easier when she goes charging after a rabbit. 50 lbs ago I could dig my heels in and stop her, now once she gets going it is very hard to stop.38

You don't want to sit down constantly. I work long shifts and I have to get up and pace or move because I can no longer just sit those long hours. (This is only with me eating healthier, I haven't even started weightlifting and cardio back again)18

I echo this! I'm asking if I can run the bloodwork to the tube instead of calling a porter I work on my feet but still want ro stretch my legs and get my heart pumping!

I've had a lot of these and they are great. The oddest one was that I had to adjust my seat in my car because my rearend didn't take up as much room any more and I was sitting too far from the steering wheel.

Even though you look smaller in pictures and your clothes fit better, you can still not like the way you look in pictures, but for other reasons.17

It seems like lately I must be carrying an invisible (to me) sign that says “Please ask me for directions!” I work in the middle a very large city with tons of tourists. Up until about 3-4 months ago, no one talked to me as I was out on the street walking to get coffee, lunch, etc. Now, I’m sure I get stopped 3-4 times a week to be asked for directions to some tourist attraction or another. What? Did my sense of direction get better with the weight loss? Either that or I’m just considered more approachable.34
