I now understand why previous posters were so excited about the appearance of collarbones, i can just see mine reappearing and i cant stop touching it.
I know, right! I started feeling mine weeks ago and haven't been able to keep my hands off them, and now I can finally SEE them in the mirror as well. I never knew it would feel so great!11 -

That some people will deliberately try and sabotage you, even if their intentions are good ("Go on, you've been so good. You DESERVE that cake")
That sometimes you have to admit defeat...some clothes will never suit me regardless of my weight
That someone telling you they want to lose weight after seeing your success can leave you an emotional wreck (in a good way)
That people will comment on weight loss, but rarely on weight gain.20 -

Seeing a picture from a year ago pop up on face book and knowing I don't look like that now. (50 lb difference)
Wednesday I found a top that fit me at a thrift shop. Unfortunately it didn't have a tag on it and they are not allowed to sell it without a tag but they would send it back and price it to have it out the next day. So yesterday we went back to check to see if it was back out and while we were there they brought out the rack of new items and I found a winter coat in brand new condition that fit me for a great price and got the shirt too. Just in time too as the unusually warm fall we have had here in Iowa is about to change.
Not losing any weight for most of November and not letting it throw me off completely and starting in the right direction again this week. And knowing that while December will be challenging I can do this.18 -

Yep! If I'm going to spend a large amount of calories on something it's going to be on something I REALLY want. Not something that makes someone else feel better because I accepted their treat. Nope.21 -

My downfall has been reese peanutbutter bars XD Their about 600 calorie each and i work my booty off all month (1200 a day doesnt leave a whole lot of room for 600 calories of chocolate ) just to have one without feeling bad hah. Dont need their stupid cake to take away my reese calories!18 -

1. I am always cold now
2. Feeling comfortable in jeans and trying something on and they fit.
3. My shoulders
4. The comparative side of me. Running and running faster or longer
5. The fear of not maintaining the weight. Happened 2 other times.
6. My husband doesn't like that I lost weight19 -
I think I've mentioned this one before, but holy cow are knees *sharp*. I've taken to sleeping with a pillow between them now. Ditto for hipbones and collarbones--when they started emerging I didn't know what felt normal. I'm used to them now, but they felt (and looked) really weird to me.12

I agree but with the heart health of her husband getting more healthy herself is really needed more than ever. @rodeothedog keep up your great success for yourself and your family. Best of success.14 -

- Having a coworker tell me I approach weight loss like an engineer
- Talking about weight loss strategies for nearly an hour with another coworker (instead of working )
- Being told I look like I'm in my late 30s

- Not being able to sleep on my stomach because the lack of belly makes my back hurt
- Getting to wear sweaters
- Getting asked to write a testimonial for my trainer
- Inspiring at least two people at work to follow my lead36 -

Reese's Peanut Butter bars? You mean Nutrageous? Reese's Peanut Butter Cups have been my favorite ever since I was a child! But I'll only eat one now on special occasions like holidays or after an all-day hike or something like that. lol!

You know what, weirdly I use to just eat the cake to shut people up. Even if i didn't really like the cake!! I don't anymore, I just plain refuse despite the "But I bought it especially" or the "It's only a small piece" and I just deal with the disapproving looks and the mutterings. If I want a piece of cake I'll damn well have a piece of cake, but I won't eat the cake because THEY want me to have the cake. It might only be 200cals, but 200 a day is 1400 a week and if I keep having "just the one piece" I'll have over eaten by a whole day's calorie intake in just one week.19 -
I have become one of THOSE people at the gym. You know the ones I'm talking about..... they'ré always admiring themselves in the mirrors. I kept glancing in the mirror while riding the stationary bike because I couldn't get over how thin my legs looked and that there was no belly hanging down in front when I was bent over peddling. That was actually ME peddling and looking pretty good!! I cant bring myself to look when I'm running on the treadmill though. I have a feeling I don't look quite so good on there lol

I have to say I'm so lucky I haven't experienced it this time. it was so frustrating I now say oh I'd love to but I have so many food allergies I'd be paying for it for days. it's not a complete lie as I have figured out I get severe stomach aches when I eat wheat. it has worked like a charm.6 -
my reflection in tje mirror makes me think my legs aren't mine lol. I lost 62 pounds and a lot came of my legs and bum but still have 7p to go and is mostly through my middle. I hike and swam alot and my legs don't look they belong with my body!!! have to say legs looking great lol and I look forward to my middle catching up!!14

Totally relate to this. Have a pair of tight jeans on and it kinda feels awful even though they are six sizes smaller than a year ago. Have to keep wearing them tho to remind myself I have a little bit farther to go. Maybe when they are loose I will be ready finally stop trying to lose!5 -

I've seen them at my local grocery. So far I've managed to keep them from jumping into my cart, only because I know I wouldn't be able to control myself. I already know that I don't have the strength to resist a bag of Reese's minis.3 -
The cold is killing me! And I'm going on a weekend trip with my husband this Friday and Saturday, where the temp is forecast to be a HIGH of 27 degrees - AAGGGHHHHH!!!! I was thinking that I would be totally miserable all weekend, but this morning I realized that I can fit back into my thermal underdrawers again. And now that I have jeans that are several sizes too big, I can wear the thermals under my baggy jeans and be nice and toasty. I'm glad I saved a couple pairs of jeans!20

I am often exposed to unhealthy food and hear the same lines, especially the "Birthday's only come once a year" excuse. I know 30-40 people that all have birthdays. With all those birthdays and Holidays and anniversaries and other special occasions, I'm saying no 3x a week. And if junk food is "special" 3 x a week, to me it is not "special"!
And that is all I have to say about that.

I am starting to notice more loose flabby skin but that is not going to stop me from meeting my goal. I'm only trying to lose one pound per week. I figured that once I meet my goal the skin should tighten up. I drink almost a gallon of water everyday. And I eat at least 50% of my foods raw like fruits and vegetables.3 -
