Yippie, got to the gym late, but at least I got there! Did some rowing for cardio, but still need some more miles in prep for a challenge, which I hope to get done at home later tonight. Got my usual strength training circuit in and done in record time...which all bets are off for next week after New Year's Day. Came home and had to wet vac the drip pan of my A/C unit to get it working again - it is on the ceiling of my garage, so a bit of ladder climbing, but got that done in record time too. Now to knock out some work and hope to get my planks and some more miles on my glider tonight after a few hours of work. Hope everyone is having a great Friday and has a wonderful New Year's Weekend!1

I can't remember if Ijoined if as there's so many posts on the last thread to work through!
But I'm 42, mostly clean eating (does chocolate count?) ?.. I try and only have chocolate 'cravings week' and rest of month am very healthy and low carb!
I might be going through peri-menopause, I'm experiencing some problems with my monthly cycle..been late, early, short, too often etc! ..... Weight loss is slow but it's happening in spurts.. some weeks nothing others 2-3lbs + water off from TOTM. I'm trying to lose 5lb a month and get to under 10st before end of February ..will be the first time in about 15 yrs I've been that weight!
Is anyone else trying to get back to weight they were when they were younger? ..it's still middle of my healthy range for my height but not sure how much age should come into it and whether I'll be able to stay at that weight easily. ( was aiming for 9st 3 which wii fit says I should be.. To finish the game)

HIIT class done - he threw in extra abs just we'd end 2016 well. Russian twists with varying weight Medicine balls - just shredded the abs. Will truly enjoy wine and peppercorn steak tonight3

Finished the year by doing 16 miles on the last day of 2016. A fun group run along a beautiful stretch of river.
Tomorrow, we will kick off the new year with a group swim & hot tub session at our local pool.

Well, all I got done on the final day of 2016 was some long overdue planks. Still wasn't as many as I wanted, but it is what it is. At least I have a Manatee Paddle later today (1/1) to look forward to...should be fun!

Had fun today at a Manatee SUP Paddle Social. Didn't get many miles, but had fun seeing dolphins, rays, and searching for manatees (some days they are just shy). So my friend and I went out after to get a few more minutes/miles in. Glorious day, in the high 70'sF/low 80'sF. Started windy, but calmed down as the day progressed.2 -

New Year's Day swim yesterday was followed by a hot tub trash talking session regarding this year's goals and upcoming races. There's no shortage of enthusiasm in January.
Trainerroad workout today was: "BLACK" a 60min sub threshold ride. A high cadence, low power spin to clear the legs after weekend long runs.2 -
41 in Dec and back on track. looking to shed another 30-40 lbs by beach season3

so first workout of 2017 and it was excellent! Hope that will be the pace for 2017.3 -
Today was a gym day...ugh, so crowded! But got my weights workout done. Adding some miles, so did some on the elliptical in the gym and then some on my glider at home. Got my planks done today, so that was good.2

Morning kids, cross fit done. gam3rguy, I wish I had those little guys at my gym (lol). Awesome job on the tire flips. Surprisingly yesterday and this morning I did not have to circle for 20 minutes looking for a space. I would love to hear from anyone on here that is into powerlifting. I found a few places and would like to try it atleast once a week unless I become obsessed with it. I get bored quite easily and after the same workouts, I lose interests. Have a great day kids.

I'm in....41 yrs old and recent lost 31 pound and within my goal weight area. But I need to tone up now and build up my strength. People how have seen me say I need to gain back some weight.
I will be checking back in with updates of my progress. Keep up the great motivation and lets do this everyone. Not for anyone but most importantly for ourselves!!!!4 -

Did P90X chest & back and ab ripper yesterday. Am feeling it today in my upper body.
Curling starts again tonight. Was really hoping I had one more week off.
@gam3rguy , I wish I had one of those bad boys to flip around also. Gotta get me one of those!4 -

My hubby's bff turns "50" in March/17 and he and his wife want us to go beach-vacationing with them....so, I am HIghLy motivated to push the FLUFF off, by golly!
8- lbs this month and hopefully 15- in total....I ain't gonna like the next couple of months, diet-wise, but this "push" is six-months in the making. It. Is. Time.
I lifted on Monday, and today. Tomorrow is rest day. I will lift Thurs and Fri and then cardio Saturday.
For the rest of january and february, my exercise schedule will look like this:
Mon: morning lifting and afternoon yoga
Tues: group powerlifting
Wed: double step (cardio)
Thurs: morning lifting and afternoon yoga
Fri: lifting
Saturday: cardio
Sunday: rest day

back to the weights tomorrow. Vacation and poor eating to stop (hopefully).
Did have a great day of skiing with the family yesterday. Amazing visibility although half the mountain was closed due to winds
(chairlift closed).

today got the ab straps or whatever its called from Wal-Mart. it's basically used for hanging ab workouts, used it and loved it today.
i think for back workouts i have reached my max weight, well the program has the reps dropping every week but i still wonder how i can manage even less reps eith a heavier weight, while still maintaining a good form. we shall wait and see.2 -
